Description
The beaches around Jeffreys Bay are home to some of the most spectacular in South Africa—perfect for trying out the sport of sandboarding. Similar to snowboarding, sandboarding is easy to learn and a fun way to enjoy this natural environment. An instructor and equipment are provided for this 2-hour activity. Choice of morning or afternoon departure time when booking. Make a day of it and combine it with our Kayaking Trip on the lagoon.

Important Information
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

- Please note that Sandboarding is not possible when it rains or after rains until such time as the dunes have dried out. Can take a day or two.
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- A small amount of walking is involved, about 300m to the dunes along the beach
- Due to uneven surfaces, sand dunes, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair

Was lots of fun. Very nice tour guide. You need to be fit lots of running up and down the dune 🤣 Will do it again! Kida loved it I have a daugher of 7 years and boys of 12,15 and 17. All loved it
Really highly recommended. A great experience that promises a lot of fun. The guide was very nice and helped us with the first rides on the boards. What's a bit of a shame is that there are no safes on site to lock up your valuables. You can't take anything with you.
The experience was a little more of a workout than we were expecting because climbing up sand dunes isn’t the easiest! Thank you for fitting us in just before we had to leave jeffrey’s bay. Special mention to Vian who was an excellent guide. Came down all the way and was so patient and kept to our pace. He showed us around the area too and it was a lovely time we had with him. Thank you Vian!

A lot of fun, but be prepared to walk up the dunes (after every slide down). I recommend taking a hat and something to get the sand off (like babypowder)
Glad you guys enjoyed it, yes sand gets in everywhere and a hat and sunscreen.
Do not miss this fun activity! We had the best time- and it really is an all ages, all abilities thing to do… those who can’t stand on it can sled down the dunes.

Went with a group of 10 girls and had a absolute blast. The instructor let us do whatever we wanted, and we did some fun things after learning how to go down ;)

We had a lot of fun during the sandboarding. Taylor was the perfect teacher, she is very kind and also told us some great facts about the country. Also it’s a nice stop on the garden route. The beach here is amazing and there is a save parking area and a good restaurant nearby. No reason to skip this!!
