Head to Addo Elephant National Park, the third largest national park in South Africa, home to the Big 5: Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, and Rhino. Enter the park through the South Gate Mathyolweni entrance, just 30 minutes from Port Elizabeth. Explore the South Section of the park, keeping an eye out for the park's famous elephants, as well as other wildlife. Continue north to the Main Camp, where you can visit the visitor information center and curio shop. Learn more about the park's history and wildlife, and pick up a souvenir to remember your visit. We were picked up by our driver at the cruise port and drove straight to Addo Elephant Park. Our driver explained a lot about the park and the animals living there. We saw a lot of elephants, ostriches and warthogs. He responded to our wishes and we had enough time to photograph and observe the animals. It was a great trip.
I highly recommend Carlin's tours for any couple, family or even friends, that's wanting to explore nature at its finest point. Excellent experience I had!
