Safari Float
Description
A unique way to experience Costa Rica's natural beauty and wildlife. Slowly floating down the Peñas Blancas River in a raft. With rainforest on both sides of the river, makes you surround by nature and wildlife. Family friendly experience, you bilingual nature guide will explain step by step about the environment. The drive to the Peñas Blancas river is only 20 minutes. The float takes about two hours with a small fruit break half way down. When we get back to La Fortuna, we provide a typical organic Costa Rican lunch. We make you homemade coffee and take you for a small walk up behind the restaurant, to show you how we grow organic. We finish with a sugarcane demonstration where you get to take the pure sugarcane juice.

At our office you will have the chance to use the bathroom before we drive to the river.
On the way to the river we will drive though La Fortuna town, you will se La Fortuna park and church.
You will enjoy a delicious organic lunch - buffet style - at this amazing two floor restaurant with the with of Arenal Volcano.

We had an amazing experience on our safari float in Costa Rica! The river was calm, peaceful, and felt very safe, making it the perfect way to enjoy nature and wildlife. Our guide, Carlos Sanchez, truly made the experience exceptional. His passion for his work shines through in everything he does. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and has an amazing eye for spotting wildlife that most people would completely miss. Sanchez went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best possible experience, taking the time to explain the animals, answer questions, and help us get great views of the wildlife. We saw an incredible variety of animals and learned so much along the way. If you’re looking for a relaxing, family-friendly adventure and want a guide who genuinely cares about giving you an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this safari float with Carlos. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica! We went with two 5 year old girls.

Austin was our tour guide. He was a lot of fun! We saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed helping paddle/steer the float. We didn't see anyone else on the river so it seemed super private. Lunch was good and we enjoyed the tour of the farm. We would definitely recommend!
