Our tour guide on the gorgeous Montmartre walking experience was the wonderful, awesome, intelligent, funny, engaging, simply sui generis YAZZID! He truly made us feel the life, culture, and history. He clearly is both a scholar and a real “monsieur Francais” — somebody who loves all of Paris but is just the perfect person to entertain, inform, teach, and shepherd you around the achingly gorgeous, historically fascinating, captivating streets & famous “must see” locations. YAZZID imparted such fascinating artistic, religious, architectural, political, social, and cultural stories — things one might not ever expect but will never forget! YAZZID is warm, passionate, quite entertaining, and really helps the tourist become part of this magical arrondissement, the experience firmly memorable and satisfying to the very last step we took with him. Merci beaucoup, YAZZID! You will always be a part of our unforgettable voyage a Paris! We feel so lucky to have Paris give us the gift of YOU to regale us with wonder!
This tour was just amazing and well worth the investment. Estelle was a fantastic guide- so friendly and her knowledge/history of the area including Sacred Heart Basilica (and all the frescos, statues and paintings inside) was unbelievable. Our tour was on our first night in Paris and she was warm, sincere and a great representative of a city she clearly loved. It was one of our favorite experiences in France. Ask for her- you will not be disappointed!!!
Definitely a must see if your in Paris. Amazing cathedral with beautiful views of Paris. Wow that was probably my favorite site to see in Paris.
This place is amazing, I was stunned by the minute I walked through the door. The artwork from the painting, mosaics, iron work etc is absolutely breath taking. I spent 2.5 hours in there with my other half. Before paying to climb the 292 stairs to the dome for the vest views in paris
Yazid met us at the designated meeting point which was really easy to find (he actually sent a google location pin just prior to the tour which was useful). He gave everybody an initial warm, friendly welcome and explained that he would just wait a few more minutes for the last couple and individual which was nice. The party was about the right size and a good mix of nationalities. Before we started Yazid provided a brief introduction/outline of the tour which was easily understood. He gave clear concise facts and was really happy to answer any questions. His manner throughout the tour was very likeable, kind and friendly Never rushed he was content to extend the tour as we had been delayed by the length of the queue into Sacre Couer, He knew all the good view points, and was happy to take photos of pairs and groups On one or two occassions he embelished his explanations with song which was amusing Overall a tour with Yazid is interesting, funny and enjoyable and highly recommended
Guide was nice but did not speak English well, nor did she know many facts about the neighborhood. We were extremely disappointed.
What a magical place I actually like this place and neighborhood the most. The buskers beautiful views and happy tourists a nice Mood. Be careful with the autograph asking ladies hold your wallet and cell phone tight. Because I think a lot of pickpockets, walk down the street and really take your time because it's really beautiful here.
Ludivine was a great guide, resolved our doubts and explained everything perfectly, highly recommended!
Erlon is an exceptional guide, that day we were lucky that we had only booked my partner and I, therefore it was like a private tour, the excursion was not cancelled. Erlon treated us super well, made the explanation super interesting and is super friendly and attentive, it is very rating that he likes his work. I will hire this tour again when I return to Paris without hesitation. 100% recommended.
Excellent guide, very knowledgeable and professional, made us know in detail the whole Montmartre area with all the historical hints related to this district of Paris.
