I enjoyed the tour. It was informative, welcoming and comprehensive. The return journey didn't happen until 4.30 pm. I found that, having had lunch, there wasn't much to occupy my time.
Thanks for yoour feedback. We hope you enjoyed the day. Please know that you can always contactus to see if you can return to Fremantle instead of Perth if you would prefer to return to the mainland earlier.
Rottnest Island was a very interesting place to visit. Very touristy though and although seeing Quokkas is heralded as a main attraction, it turns out they are nocturnal animals. We did see some, but only those who continue to be fed by people, despite this being extremely bad for them. The bus trip Around the island was informative, but it was a shame there were no opportunities provided to get out and go for a walk (only 2 5 minute stops) or a swim at some of the gorgeous beaches. The commentary was also a bit dated. All up a slick tourist operation, and a unique experience.
Thanks for your detailed feedback, sounds like overall you enjoyed your experience on Rottnest Island!
A day to remember. We enjoyed the luxury boats and houses on the river cruise to the island . Rottnest was fascinating, we loved it. The Quokas, the quirky shops , bus trip around the island were highlights.
Brilliant, thanks for your feedback Sue, great to hear!
Bay bus tour was good, we were on the 11:15am tour, by the time you get back and have lunch we had enough time to walk to the basin and had a swim then made our way back to the ferry
Sounds like a perfect day on Rottnest Island!
Brilliantly organised. We did the Perth Sealink ferry and the Bayseeker bus tour which was excellent. A brilliant driver who gave us the commentary throughout. We were booked on the later Perth ferry but changed it without issue to an earlier Fremantle return ferry. Love the flexibility.
Sounds like a perfect day on Rottnest Island, thanks for your feedback, and yes, we try to be flexible to suit the needs of our customers.
Rottenest is a lovely island and I enjoyed the day I spent there. It was great seeing all the beaches, learning the history and of course the wildlife!
Thanks for your positive review, sounds like you had a great experience on Rottnest Island!
Absolutely beautiful part of the country. Never seen beaches as beautiful as the ones at Rottnest. Will definitely be back and spend more time exploring
Wow, and we 100% agree with you, the beaches on Rottnest Island are indeed beautiful!
Great experience. Plenty of time to explore. Understand when you leave and from where and when you return.
Thanks for your feedback William!
The rides over and back were fine, but the bus tour wasn’t our thing. We would have preferred a bus with stops long enough to enjoy some of the sites. We were also disappointed in how crowded the island was even though it was midweek and off season. The quakkas, however, were great. Especially enjoyed them when we walked around one of the saltwater lakes and we were on our own with them. We were able to see some nursing moms with their Joey‘s, which was amazing!
It sounds like you had a mixed experience during your visit, and we appreciate your feedback. While it's unfortunate the bus tour wasn't quite your cup of tea, we're pleased that you enjoyed your encounters with the quokkas. We understand that being able to spend quality time with them, especially around the saltwater lakes, can be a truly unique experience. Your observation about the island being crowded despite the off-season is noted, and we hope it didn't hinder your overall enjoyment too much. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
