Highly recommend!

I am so glad I booked this transfer to the cruise port. Luca arrived early but did not rush us at all. He told us he was ready when we were. He was professional in every way and the vehicle - Mercedes Van - was like a limo - very comfortable.

Above and Beyond Service!

I booked the service for my family and friends (total of 6 people) to travel from hotel to our cruise port in Italy. Unfortunately my luggage carry-on that wouldn’t fit on plane was checked and then DELAYED! The airlines was supposed to deliver to my hotel but didn’t. My driver and Viator were very understanding. The driver stopped at the airport so that I could retrieve my luggage. I paid an extra 20 euros but it was worth it. The driver was very friendly and had a great attitude.

The driver David was very...

The driver David was very punctual, polite and great to talk to! The vehicle was clean, comfortable and spacious. Communication with Viator was excellent and agents were very efficient and quick to respond.

Not direct transfer to port

I am writing to express my disappointment with a private transfer we booked through Viator on Sunday, May 18th, from our Airbnb in Rome to the Civitavecchia Cruise Port. While the driver was professional and courteous, we were not dropped off directly at the cruise terminal as specified in our booking. Instead, we were left at an external location and required to board a shuttle bus to reach the terminal. This completely undermines the purpose of booking a private transfer, which we specifically chose to avoid the inconvenience and physical strain of handling our five suitcases across multiple transport modes. Both my daughter and I have physical limitations, which make such transfers extremely difficult. That is precisely why we were careful to book a direct, private service to the terminal itself. Had we known that direct access would not be provided, we would have made other arrangements. We have been long-time customers of Viator and have always appreciated the quality and reliability of your services. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards. We are very disappointed and would like to understand why the driver was not permitted access, and why we were not informed of this limitation in advance.

Great trip to the port!

Driver was right on time, comfortable vehicle and the driver was friendly. I would highly recommend this for getting to the airport.

Wouldn’t recommend

I was really surprised to read such great reviews for this transfer because we had a complete opposite experience. Our driver was early, which was amazing, but drove like a maniac the whole 90 mins. My husband was incredibly nauseous the entire ride from it. However, we did arrive 10 mins early to the cruise port. The van that picked us up had not been cleaned out from the last guests. The van also had a very strange smell.

Great Driver!

Great driver! Arrived on time. Loaded our luggage. Took us directly to the cruise port entrance. Unloaded all our luggage. Arranged for someone at the port to load our luggage on a cart and take us directly to check in. Great experience and would definitely recommend.
