I can’t say enough good things about Turtle Tours, and especially about Flavio and Pauline. This wasn’t just a tour—it was a core memory for my family and me. Flavio, a native of Italy, is a gifted storyteller who speaks multiple languages, bringing not only his knowledge but his rich life experience into the tour. From hidden gems in Rome to off-the-beaten-path treasures, he made every moment sparkle. What blew me away even more was that, the next evening, after the tour, we ran into him at a small restaurant by our hotel. He took the time to join us for dinner, and we shared stories like old friends. As a hospitality executive from New York City, I can say this is more than just a tour—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re looking for something beyond the ordinary, a true connection, and a memory you’ll treasure forever, I wholeheartedly give Turtle Tours Flavio and Pauline 5 stars. Don’t miss out, you won’t be disappointed!!
The golf cart private tour (we had 4 people) was the way to go!! We skipped the lines on Colosseum entry, and our guide Marcelo was perfect! Great guy, good English, and extremely knowledgeable. No question he could not answer. We really enjoyed the tour, which included The Forum also.
We had the most wonderful tour with Shima. She was so knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about Romes history and local places to eat, drink and get gelato. She made our trip so special and made sure we saw everything we asked to see. Rome is so beautiful, but very crowded and the route she made for our tour made us feel like we were driving the back streets of olden times. We would recommend Turtle Tours to everyone and will definitely use them when we return to Rome.
Gein Marco was an excellent guide we learned many different things. He adjusted out tour to some less known places since we had already seen the main attractions. Highly recommend this tour.
John Carlo was amazing! The tour was very informative I highly recommend!
“Biagio was an outstanding guide on our Secret Rome golf cart tour with Turtle Tours. He took us to incredible hidden gems we’d never seen on other tours, sharing fascinating insights with genuine passion. Knowledgeable, personable, and full of energy, he made the experience unforgettable. We can’t recommend him enough—5 out of 5!”
We had an excellent tour with Biagio and Andy. We started and finished the tour with beautiful views of the city from different vistas and got to experience some of the local gems, including the rose garden. The tour of the colosseum was perfect for our children and Barbara kept them engaged and enchanted. We would definitely recommend this tour for families with little kids that want to see a lot of this wonderful city.
Lived this tour!!! Saw so much of the city in just 3 hours!! Emiliano was very knowledgeable about the city and took us to the best places!!
Enjoyable dash through the winding streets of Rome. Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. We could moderate time at each stop to suit our needs. This is the best way to see all the main sights with a person who can tell the history of the Eternal City and answer any question.
Matthew was the best golf cart guide!! Made the experience wonderful!!
