Rome: Pantheon Entrance Tickets

Description
Make your visit to the Pantheon. The iconic structure, of Pantheon originally commissioned by Marcus Agrippa in 27 BC and subsequently rebuilt by Emperor Hadrian around 126 AD, is a temple dedicated to all the gods of Roman mythology. What distinguishes the Pantheon is its awe-inspiring dome, which remains one of the largest unreinforced concrete domes in the world. Its perfect symmetry and harmonious proportions exemplify the architectural precision of the Romans. The dome's crowning achievement is the oculus, a circular opening at its apex that bathes the interior in ethereal light, casting a dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the day. The Pantheon's enduring significance transcends its architectural marvel. It has been repurposed over the centuries, transforming from a pagan temple to a Christian church, the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres.

Itinerary
The Pantheon, a timeless architectural gem nestled in the heart of Rome, Italy, represents an unparalleled fusion of history, engineering, and artistry. Originally commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus in 27 BC, it was rebuilt under Emperor Hadrian's direction around 126 AD, and it remains remarkably intact to this day. What distinguishes the Pantheon is its astounding dome, an engineering marvel that remains one of the world's largest unreinforced concrete domes. This architectural feat showcases the Romans' exceptional mastery in construction. The dome's defining feature is the oculus, a perfectly circular opening at its apex, which bestows a celestial glow upon the interior, creating an ever-changing interplay of light and shadow. Over the centuries, the Pantheon has evolved from a pagan temple dedicated to the Roman gods to a Christian church, known as the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres.

Operator canceled the tickets. We were already there. So disappointing. And follow up comms went unanswered.
Do not book this tour!! I followed all of the directions on how to get my tickets. I went early and waited where I was supposed to wait. The tour company never showed up! I ended up having to stand in line and buy new tickets. They refuse to give me a refund.
Tour guide did not turn up as described in the document documentation sent after booking. And instead, I got a random WhatsApp message with my entry tickets and I was just kind of assumed that I knew that I could just walk in with the tickets. So I'm not really sure what to skip. The line part was except they bought electronic tickets for me automatically.
We bought 9 am tx and the line was much longer than the lines for people who had no tx. But the pantheon is amazing
We missed this tour, but went on our own another day. I’m so glad we did as it is was amazing. Make sure you go
Tickets arrived immediately and without any issues. Possibility to postpone the payment. Truly excellent!
Very quick and simple to use. Was advised of a meeting point which was not correct just go straight to on-line purchase que.
After walking 40 minutes to het to the Pantheon we used the Whats App to double check meeting point. Instead of answering that question we were told our tickets were cancelled. I called Customer Service I was told that we should just get in the regular line to get tickets. Both the credit and cash lines were over an hour long. Had we known earlier we would’ve gone earlier. Instead we missed out on this experience. This was our first time using Viatar. Certainly can’t recommend it after this.
This tour was scheduled through Viator, however; the third party company cancelled. We never received an email stating this so we went to the meeting point to receive our tickets the day of the tour. No one showed and I had to make an international call to the company to learn that tickets were sold out, therefore, it was cancelled. While they did refund me, I paid for an international call to find out why we could not find the contact in the designated meeting place. We were extremely disappointed in the service. We did stand in a queue, which moved well, and paid 5 euros to enter the Pantheon.
Great way to buy tickets without the line. Make sure you have WhatsApp. They sent the actual entry tickets to WhatsApp. Full disclosure: you pay 10 instead of 5, but if the line is long, not bad
