My wife and I had an AMAZING tour with Valerio. This was perhaps our favorite thing we did in 5 days in Rome. Valerio was a wealth of knowledge and is clearly passionate about this work. We saw a ton of Roman history, got to drive through small back roads where cars couldn't fit, and had incredible food at a local market. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

His passion, knowledge, and love for sharing the city's history truly make each experience special. We're so glad you enjoyed the hidden streets, fascinating stories, and delicious local food. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Rome in the future!
Valerio was our tour guide and it was incredible! We learned so much about the history but also just by taking all the backstreets, we saw things you wouldn’t see unless you were a local. Then the food at the farmers market that we had was so delicious! All the meats and cheeses and raviolis was some of the best food. Highly recommend doing this tour through this company. You won’t regret it!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so happy you enjoyed exploring Rome with Valerio and discovering its hidden corners. It's great to hear you loved the local market food as well. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon!
We took this tour on the last day of our stay. It was easily one of our favorites. Because we had already been to the major places, Valerio took us to see some amazing sights. Our favorite was a 1700 year old church under a Bacillica. He's very passionate in his love for his city and it made our tour very enjoyable. Totally worth it.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! What a perfect way to spend your final day in Rome. We love hearing that even after seeing the major landmarks, Valerio was able to surprise you with some of the city's deepest hidden treasures.
It was a wonderful way to see the city thru all the back streets. Achille picked us up at our hotel. We saw many attractions from different perspectives because the golf card could go anywhere. The food market was a good place to try the local delicacies.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re so glad to hear that Achille made your tour such a memorable experience. Exploring Rome’s back streets and local spots truly offers a unique perspective of the city — we’re thrilled you enjoyed it, especially the stop at the food market!
Fun. Very informative.Covers areas and sites of Rome not accessible by any other means. Food was great! Our guide Achilles was humorous, knowledgeable and passionate about his city. Since we had seen the major sites with other tours, Achilles was flexible with the itinerary and diverted to various other sites not visited by many tours for fabulous photo ops.We highly recommend this tour and Achilles as your guide.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that Achille made your tour such a fun, flexible, and insightful experience. His passion for Rome and talent for showing hidden corners truly make every journey special
This was an amazing way to see Rome. Our tour guide was Eduardo and he was extremely informative and fun. We typically do tours centered around history and culture, but wanted to try something more fun for the kids (17, 14, 11). I was pleasantly surprised that the tour had as much information about history and culture, in addition to the great lunch from a local market. The tour takes you through many of the alleyways of Rome and also onto the main roads which is fun since you’re on the road with buses, cars, and motorcycles. We had a great time and our girls said it was their favorite tour of the trip. Despite temperatures in the mid 90’s, the tour was still pleasant because the golf cart has a roof and the driver is able to park close to each site you visit. Therefore, there was very limited walking but we were still able to see a good number of sites. Would absolutely recommend this as your first tour of Rome. You can then see what areas or sites you want to return to for a more in depth tour. We did separate in depth tours of the Vatican/Sistine Chapel and Colosseum/Roman Forum.
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review — and how great that Eduardo made it both fun and meaningful for your whole family! He’s known for striking that perfect balance between history, culture, and a little Roman adventure. It’s especially nice to hear your kids enjoyed it too, even in the summer heat. The flexibility and ease of covering so much ground without too much walking is exactly what makes the golf cart tour a favorite for families. We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Rome again soon!
So much fun and so informative. The food stop was terrific! Valerio took great care of us. Highly recommended. Food, wine, history.
Thank you for the kind words! We're thrilled you had such a fun and informative time with Valerio — and glad you loved the food stop too! Great company, good wine, and Rome’s history is always a perfect combo. Highly recommended right back!
This tour was great and definitely would recommend! Valerio was our guide and he was super knowledgeable about everything we saw. Great sites and information, we learned a lot and really enjoyed it. We will do again next time we are in Rome.
Grazie Thank you so much we are really happy to hear that you enjoy it We hope we can meet you soon again next time Take care Regards, Roberta, Ivano, Valerio & Diletta Go Rome City Tours
