Tour Options
Itinerary
I recommend guided tours. These options can help you save time and ensure a smoother experience. Additionally, guided tours often provide knowledgeable guides who can share interesting facts, stories, and historical context as you explore these ancient sites. Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome, offers a panoramic view of the Roman Forum and the city itself. It was once home to emperors and aristocrats, with luxurious palaces and gardens. Exploring Palatine Hill allows you to delve into layers of Roman history, from its mythical origins to the days of imperial Rome.
Roman Forum The Roman Forum features impressive architectural remains, including temples, basilicas, arches, and monuments. It showcases the architectural styles and techniques of ancient Rome, demonstrating the grandeur and engineering prowess of the civilization.
Palatine Hill Palatine Hill's fame can be attributed to its historical connections to the founding of Rome, its association with imperial palaces, the stunning views it offers, the archaeological excavations that have revealed ancient treasures, its mythological ties, and its cultural and historical significance as a symbol of Roman power and luxury.

Way too expensive and the staff was stressed, unfriendly and pushy. The Audioguide was okay but nit worth the price tag Never Again.
It was better for you stay on the line hours after hours in the sun , We did not force you to book it , You saw the price and book it. You did not find the ticket anywhere, after that you got it from us . This audio guided tour with ticket is not for poor minded people. Change your mind and see how beautiful the world is !
The host is super nice and knowledgeable. He holds a flag with company logo and is easy to find. I booked the tour at 12:30 but the time ticket I got was for 1:30 pm so make your travel plan accordingly. The ticket gets you into three attractions but did not include the Arena ticket for the Collosseum.
You receive a download link which provides audio description of 12 areas of the colosseum. Had hoped for better inc visual interpretation of gladiator combats.
The host was very polite and explained everything to us. We also received audio files with explanations about the Colosseo, Palatino and Foro Romano.
This audio tour was a scam. The map and numbers were barely relevant to what we were looking at. It was definitely written by chatGPT. Don’t waste your money on this! Just buy tickets online and find a free version online somewhere.
Very organized. Good information through the app. Highly recommended. They clearly and precisely indicated everything we needed to know at the meeting point.
The meeting was hard to locate. Once there, our guide was late. Then they provided no guidance or recommendations on what to see and do once you get in the Colosseum. I didn’t read that we needed our own audio however even for those in our group that had audio they were not able to follow either with resources provided.
Good evening , Its waste of time to reply. You wrote us you did not read the booking detail that is why you could not find it. Our educated, intelligent and nice people are visiting everyday and they know how to find it, what is included what is not what should bring and should not. You should have booked anther platform or wait in the line hours after hours to get the tickets and no instruction that would be the better tour specially for you , please do not waste your money. keep it for the next centaury. Thank you.
The audio guide is AI slop and not at all interesting. No stories—just basic facts. We stopped it midway through and just figured out things on our own. The biggest issue, however, is that the times are not fixed. In fact, this is my third Colosseum tour to have booked, and not ONCE has the original time been adhered to. I cannot recommend Viator for touring the Colosseum.
I did not like this at all. They simple got the tickets for us, which I could have easily done and gave us links to information about the site which I also could do on my own.
We met Raji at the Collosseo metro station. He sent us the tickets and the audio files for the audio guide. He took a lot of time for explanation and tips. Above all, we learned at which gate currently the fastest access to the Forum Romanung is possible. Simply perfect
