The extant temple used Greek architecture with Corinthian columns, marble, and a central cella. The remaining structure indicates that there were twenty Corinthian columns built on a podium fifteen meters in diameter. The roof probably had a vent at the apex to allow smoke release.

We had a great trip visiting colosseum. The driver explained the sites alongside the way. Rosalba, our tour guide is very knowledgeable and patiently explaining all the amazing history along the walk. We learned so much in our short visit.
Gianluca created a custom experience exactly as we wanted it and took us across the entire visit without missing a single beat. All the explanations were interesting and relevant and the amount of knowledge he managed to give us was simply unbelievable. The entire timing of the tour, which was long and touched multiple monuments, was flawless and he even managed to offer you the final touch (sunset from the Tabularium...and right on time). And he gave us our 5' minutes of romantic time, in front of the unmatchable beauty of the Roman Forum. Everything perfect, really. We will have more tours with Gianluca and are looking forward to them. I do strongly recommend him and City Eyes.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Reading that you would choose Gianluca and CityEyes again is the best compliment we could receive. Grazie, Gianluca, and the CityEyes Team
Great tour 👍Stefania was wonderful , her knowledge and studies in Art and History increased our understanding and added a great dimension to our tour . We would highly recommend Stefania , so far this was one of the most informative tours we’ve had on a European holiday We are actually hoping Stefania is available as we booked another tour with her for the Vatican City on Tuesday Highly recommend Roslyn
Hi dear friends! Great to see your very kind review of your time spent with me :) I hope you enjoyed your European tour and Italy in general. Can't wait to see you next time in the Eternal city! Stefania
Fabiana made our tour a fantastic experience! She’s truly amazing. Her knowledge of ancient, medieval and modern Rome’s art history and archeology is remarkable! Her patience and charm added made our 4 hr visit exceptionally rewarding!!
My friends :) I am very very happy to read about your satisfaction... Grazie! It was enjoyable and so much fun to spend my time with you! I am sure we will meet again soon! Grazie mille, Fabiana
My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Rosy in our hotel lobby, where she then took us on a private tour of the Colosseum, with additional belvedere, and Forum. Rosy was very knowledgeable and made every aspect of the tour more interesting and engaging than expected. And it was a pleasure spending time with her and her little bag of books, stories and facts. We would highly recommend Rosy as our tour guide of choice, and the tour itself was amazing. The addition of the belvedere access made for a breathtaking experience; one that made us feel quite privileged to have participated in. The crowds appeared like ants below us, while at the belvedere level we were in the company of only Rosy, a colosseum staff, and one other couple. It was truly outstanding. Rosy rocks. :)
Ciao! It was my pleasure touring with you, and ascending to the belvedere of the Colosseum! I also appreciate places where there are less people- more time to enjoy the surroundings with less confusion. Thanks for the stellar review! -Rosy
My husband and I had a private tour of the coliseum, belvedere and forum with Denis. He was absolutely amazing! His knowledge and enthusiasm was incredible.if we go back to Rome, we will request Denis for any tours we do. The tour itself is excellent. Taking the belvedere tour means you use a separate entrance, which is really nice. The views are fantastic. We also did the early bird Vatican tour with Karin, and she was excellent. I recommend paying for the extra early bird entrance. The company was great to work with. Professional, efficient and quick to respond.
Hey! Thanks for the kind comments you've left for us. We are happy to have been your guides, and appreciate the feedback. And we totally agree about the Belvedere and Early Bird/Prime Vatican Entrance- getting in before the crowds is worth it. Best, Denis and Karin
