This sunset sailing tour operates exclusively through a hotel pickup service, for which we have two established routes: one covering the Riviera Maya area and the other covering the Cancun. Before booking, please check this list of hotels to find the correct option for you. Round-trip transportation is included from most hotels in Riviera Maya. IMPORTANT: the Start Time is NOT your Pickup time. It depends on your hotel's location. Please be aware of your pickup details.

This was such a great group of people.. we recommend this company.. the snorkeling wasn’t great because of weather, but all the staff make it feel like inviting and secure.. Jose and the group were excellent in answering all the questions.. thank you for a great time!!

We have been coming to the Talum and Play Del Carmen area for years. The last two times we booked a sunset cruise they cancelled on us just before the trip. Each time that day it was not safe and each time the weather was perfect. You cannot depend on these guys at all!!!!!

Booked twice as first booking I was sent notice the day before it was being cancelled. I rebooked for another night to propose, and received notification that it was not being allowed to operate by the Port Authority . Huge scam, won’t allow refund only to rebook for another time. Don’t waste your time or money on this specific Viator managed excursion.

Picked up from our hotel at 4pm. Boat departed at 5:30 and returned at 7:30. Didn’t get back to our hotel until 9:50pm. 4 hours total spent in a van…. For a 2 hour excursion. This was probably the worst experience of all time and I’m thinking about cancelling other excursions I have planned because this one went so terribly wrong.

The pick up time at the hotel was not conveyed until the day of the pick up, when we no longer had email access internationally, despite my emails to confirm that 5:30 was the pick up time, not the sunset cruise start time. So we arrived at the pick up location one hour and 10 minutes late, despite every piece of communication for the preceding week reading 5.30. We were all disappointed, and wasted $270 because they couldn't provide an accurate pick up time until we had left town and email access. seem very disorganized.

We had a group of 12 staying in Playa del Carmen. This sail included drinks, a snack - artistically arranged lunchmeat, cheese and crackers in a bento box - music and the incredible sunset. We were picked up at our hotel in a van large enough to fit us all and driven south, to Puerto Aventuras. We checked in ($15 pp dock fee payable on arrival) and waited a short while before being walked to the marina. Besides our group of 12, there were roughly another dozen people on the sail. We were by no means crowded; the boat was large with bench seating undercover as well as an opportunity to sit near the bow with feet dangling over the canvas deck insets. It was a bit rough so you did need a hand to steady yourself sometimes when walking (or dancing!) The selection of music was great for our group so we were up right away dancing. We sailed for near an hour then turned to sail into the sunset on our return to marina. The van delivered us back to the hotel. It was an enjoyable evening. But I think it should be described as snacks rather than "light dinner."
