River Cruise with Three Course Riverside Restaurant Dining

We had a fabulous River Cruise along with a glass of Prosecco and a great guide. The 3 course meal afterwards was brilliant. Great choice and beautifully cooked and presented well, definitely worth the cost. Our server was a lovely girl who couldn't do enough for us - sorry I didn't get her name. We had travelled over 4hrs and this made the whole journey worthwhile. So easy to locate with a lovely indoor air conditioned restaurant for those not wanting to sit outside

What a fantastic experience, cruising along the river with a glass of prosecco followed by a lovely 3 course meal in the restaurant afterwards. Our guide Russell was extremely informative throughout the cruise and the restaurant staff could not have been more helpful. Overall a lovely day out and we will definitely book again.

Gentle tour of the river with little stories and jokes from your guide, followed by a delicious three course gourmet meal at the Folly - such a treat!

Once in a lifetime experience we both enjoyed the day out it was heartwarming to get a break from the normal routine even though it was very pricey!

Unfortunately due to roadworks we arrived 1 hr. Late. The staff were amazing, they still made our cruise and meal happen. The whole experience was excellent. Ollie was very knowledgeable on the cruise. The food and service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a great evening! Maddy our 'captain' was so friendly and informative as we cruised along the river and then the dinner at The Folly was excellent. My husband and I had taken 2 friends to celebrate a 70th birthday and we could not have chosen better - Definitely great value for money!

Absolutely fantastic time spent on a cruise along the river in Oxford with our guide Max telling us all about the local history and fascinating historical stories. Great to see the Oxford colleges from the water whilst enjoying a glass of prosecco. We were really lucky to have the boat to ourselves too. Oxford is a really beautiful city with its spires and waterways. We then had a wonderful lunch at the Folly restaurant which was delicious. Highly recommend and would love to go again. Max was a brilliant guide. Thank you!

I booked this for my husbands 70th birthday to celebrate with our family. Right from the start the staff were very helpful & friendly, nothing was too much for them especially as I had to ring to confirm a couple of things before the day. They kindly let us have the private dining room as there was 11 of us & they also allowed my daughter to go in through the day to decorate it. The food was excellent & plenty to choose from even on the children’s for our 7 year old grandson. We also had a buzzer on the table to use if we needed anything & they answered straight away. We also did the river cruise (unfortunately it decided to rain just before we left) but that didn’t put us off as Max our Skipper was brilliant, he was very informative & although we are all from Oxford it was seeing buildings etc from the back rather than seeing the buildings as you would do normally. We thoroughly enjoyed it & our glass of prosecco. I would definitely recommend this dinner/cruise to family & friends, worth every penny. Thank you.

I booked the river cruise and dining experience for my husband’s birthday this week and we both had a great time. We were very impressed with the excellent boat ride, thanks to the knowledgeable skipper, Nick and the food was amazing with fantastic service care of our server, Ridi. The Folly is a great restaurant with a lovely view of the river, highly recommended 😊
