Rio Secreto has evolved, both as a brand and as a natural reserve, with the addition of Rio Secreto Plus – the most spectacular tour in the Mexican Caribbean. This 5-hour guided tour begins with the traditional Rio Secreto Regular Tour, where you’ll walk through stunning caves, swim in crystal-clear underground rivers, and admire breathtaking millennia-old rock formations. But that’s not all — Rio Secreto Plus takes your adventure further! Ride your bike through the lush jungle, descend by rappel into Xibalbá, the legendary Mayan underworld, and feel the thrill of soaring among the treetops on three exciting zip lines.

If you do not find your hotel in the list, please provide us with the name or address of your accommodation. We will assign the nearest pickup location based on your stay. Please note that pickups in Cancún and Playa del Carmen start at least **1 hour and 30 minutes** before the tour time. Cruise ship passengers: In order for you to enjoy the maximum possible logistical efficiency we strongly suggest that you book your tour directly with your cruise line.

Excellent experience, had Gaby as a tour guide and she was wonderful, knowledgeable and made the excursion truly enjoyable. The cave was definitely an otherworldly experience, something unique that I won't forget. Thank you to the crew at Rio Secreto for all their hard work!
Incredible experience walking through the jungle, partaking in ancient rituals, swimming/hiking through the cave. Matteo was our guide and he explained things extremely well. Would also recommend about 4-5 hours for the entire experience.
Best excursion we did! Our guides were fun, each activity was fun, and swimming in the underground cenote was awesome!! Food was good.
The repel and the zip line were fun, not too scary for us. The classic tour was amazing. The water was refreshing and hiking through the caves while swimming in an underground river was magical. A must do experience in Yucatán Peninsula

Second visit and it turned out to be almost as good as the first. Highly recommended for adventure and nature lovers. Incredible experience. The only thing that detracted was the food. It is not the best and leaves much to be desired.

Rio Secreto is a must see if you’re visiting the area. A truly stunning experience, and a load of fun if you’re adventure seeking. Our tour guide Pepe was top notch - funny, educational, kind. We had additional luck with a good group of strangers, but it was really a blast. I am not super active and have asthma but I was able to keep up. You bike 2km (1km then a break for zip lines, and back), do some small zip lines (not very scary or far off the forest floor) and then it’s on to the cave. I would not consider it easy or a leisure activity, but the sights were incredible. I think small children are not great for this, maybe like 10+ because it is a lot. There are some tight and dark spaces. That being said, we saw some younger kids there who seemed to have a blast! Would 100% recommend

The highlight of our vacation to Riviera Maya - the biking, ziplines and rappelling were an amazing way to see the jungle, and the cave walk/swim was incredible. Our guide Pepe made the entire experience unforgettable

This is a great tour for people who are looking to have a little adventure but are not crazy daredevils! The bike ride takes you through a bumpy gravel jungle path to two different ziplines and a quick rappel followed by another zipline before biking back for the main tour. Definitely wear the wetsuit, we were glad that we did because after wading and swimming through the caves some of our party we're starting to shiver. Being a little cold is worth it for the beautiful structure and amazing clear waters. Definitely wear good shoes too, the ground is a natural cave so there are rocks. Our guide Victor was fantastic and the pictures turned out wonderful, our group of eight thought that the $200 for our entire package (300+ shots) was a no brainer. Take this tour, you'll love it!

We have been with Gisell (guide) and Nefi (photo) and the experience has been excellent. They have been very attentive, helping at all times and have made the cave tour very fun. We have loved Gisell’s commitment to nature and he has answered all the questions explanations clearly. A very good experience!

Our visit was a little bit of a let down - photos and reviews seemed amazing but our experience was only okay. Zip lines were not fun (super short distances and low to the ground), biking in the hot jungle (we decided to take the van - super glad we did), rappelling was cool. When we were done with the river, the buffet was getting cleaned up and food was not available to us such as the salad, soup - they were obviously all ready to go home. River is pretty - maybe we should have done the river only package.
