Is your cruise ship stopping in Riga? Excellent! You have a chance to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Riga historical center! We will go on a walking tour of Riga Old Town where you will hear many legends and fun stories of our city. Apart from the Old Town, you will also get to visit Central Market and art Nouveau district! Between all locations, we will take care of private transportation (as big as the group size requires). The driving tour gives a great chance to see Riga from different angles - impossible to do on feet in such a limited time. Our priority is our client so we will be happy to rearrange things to meet your interests! For example - you do not wish to go to the market, but you'd like to see more of wooden houses - we will customize the tour for you. If you would like to stop for a beer or a cup of coffee to enjoy the Old Town vibe - it is not a problem! We are happy to go off the path to make your time in Riga relaxing and enjoyable!

Admire beautiful Art Nouveau buildings! We'll point out some details so you get to see them from completely other point of view!
Visit spectacular market pavilions which historically were used as zeppelin airship hangars! We'll walk through the market to see what locals eat and drink. And of course - there will be a chance to taste some local snacks if you'd like!
A beautiful area with nicely renovated wooden houses! Once an area left behind - now has one of the most expensive land in Riga!

We didn’t have long in the city but Janis made sure we saw the highlights with some history added in. He picked us up from the terminal and dropped us back off as well after a great day in the city.

Our group of 4 was SO very glad we selected this tour - it was the highlight of our cruise! Armands was a wonderful guide and arrived at the port on time to pick us up in his very comfortable vehicle. He pointed out so many wonderful things along our way, told us about Riga’s stories and legends, took us to the central market and made some tasting suggestions, and answered all of our questions about life in Riga. One of our party had a recent hip surgery and was a bit slower getting around, and Armands graciously and easily adjusted the tour pace to accommodate her without cutting anything out of the tour. We arrived knowing almost nothing about Latvia, but by the end of the tour, we were in love with this beautiful place! We learned so much, and around each corner was an even more beautiful place. We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed by Riga, and we cannot thank Armands enough for bringing it to life for us. We hope to come back and stay longer next time!
