Our tour leader was amazing, even though she was thrown into leading our group at the last second due to unforeseen circumstances, she made sure our trip was extremely memorable. The locations around the island were beautiful and it was just a lot of fun.
I had limited time available during a business-related cruise itinerary, so I was looking for a tour that would maximize sightseeing without unnecessary delays. This excursion met those expectations very well. The transportation was punctual, the guide communicated clearly, and the itinerary covered two of the most significant locations in Rhodes. Lindos offered stunning views and interesting local character, while the Medieval City provided valuable historical context. Everything was handled professionally, and the timing worked perfectly with the ship schedule. A very worthwhile use of a day ashore.
Our day in Rhodes and Lindos was amazing. We traveled through the Acropolis of Lindos and toured the Medieval City. We also stopped and learned about pottery and had a delicious oil tasting.
As someone visiting Rhodes for the first time, I wanted an excursion that covered the island's most famous attractions. This tour provided exactly that. Lindos was incredibly scenic, and the panoramic views alone made the trip worthwhile. The Medieval City offered a deeper look into the island's history, and the guide helped connect the different periods of Rhodes' past in a way that was easy to understand. The logistics were simple, the pace was comfortable, and I returned to the ship feeling like I had experienced much more than I could have managed independently.
This tour worked wonderfully for our family because it combined sightseeing with enough flexibility for everyone to enjoy the day in their own way. The drive to Lindos offered beautiful scenery, and once there we loved exploring the narrow pathways and discovering hidden corners of the village. The Medieval City was equally fascinating. Our children enjoyed walking through the old walls and imagining what life might have been like centuries ago. The guide kept the information interesting and accessible for all ages. The entire experience felt well balanced, making it one of our favorite excursions from the cruise.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting Lindos and the Medieval City. The contrast between the bright coastal beauty of Lindos and the historic atmosphere of the old town made the tour particularly memorable. The guide shared local stories and historical facts that added depth to the experience. We also appreciated having enough personal time to browse local shops and enjoy the surroundings at our own pace. Everything was organized smoothly, and the excursion felt neither rushed nor overly long. A very pleasant experience from beginning to end.
Our guide was wonderful and very informative. Just a heads up for future travelers: the walk up to the Lindos Acropolis is quite steep and rugged, especially in the heat. If you have mobility issues, you might want to skip the climb and stay in the village. The rest of the tour, including the Old Town walking tour, was perfect!
What stood out most about this tour was the balance between guided information and independent discovery. Our guide provided helpful background about Rhodes and its history, but we never felt rushed from one stop to another. Lindos offered incredible views and a relaxed atmosphere. Later, the Medieval City impressed us with its architecture and unique character. Every street seemed to reveal something new. For travelers who enjoy learning while still having freedom to explore, this excursion is a very good option.
An exceptional tour! Our guide shared fantastic stories about the Knights of St. John. The stop at the traditional pottery workshop and the olive oil/honey tasting was a delightful surprise. We had enough free time to explore the Acropolis of Lindos and take gorgeous photos. Perfect timing to get us back to the ship.
My partner and I chose this excursion looking for a mix of sightseeing and local culture, and it delivered exactly that. Lindos was incredibly charming, with white buildings climbing the hillside and breathtaking sea views. We enjoyed simply walking through the village and stopping at a few local cafés. The guided portion in the Medieval City helped us appreciate the rich history of Rhodes. The guide explained key landmarks in an engaging and easy-to-follow way. We especially liked having a combination of structured guidance and personal exploration time. Overall, the day felt relaxed, informative, and enjoyable. It was a wonderful way to spend our cruise stop.
