Itinerary
Begin your adventure with an early pickup from hotels near the main square of Ollantaytambo or Urubamba. Transfer to Cusco, where you will board the tourist bus headed for Rainbow Mountain.
Travel to Cusipata, where you will enjoy breakfast before continuing to the starting point of the hike. From the parking lot, begin a hike of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours until you reach the impressive Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). At the top, take time to snap photos, enjoy the Andean landscape, and listen to your guide's explanation. Then, descend back to the parking lot and head to Cusipata to enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, return to Cusco, arriving between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., with the option of ending at Plaza Regocijo (Cusco) or returning to Ollantaytambo or Urubamba, depending on your preference.
