The Rabaçal 25 Fontes walk is very beautiful for its diversity of plants and green vegetation that we can see, also the famous Levadas of the Madeira Island. Levadas are water channels, and this is one of the most famous of the whole island, because the landscapes and unforgettable sensations will stay in the thoughts of those who do this levada. Starting from Rabaçal, you will find an immense variety of species of flora and fauna madeirenses. The walk through the middle of the Laurissilva forest, through the irrigation canals that reach the lagoon from the 25 Fontes, it is the most beautiful point of the whole walk, with a large waterfall falling into a small lagoon. Well organised from the hotel pick up to the drop off afterwards. Paulo our guide worked hard to make sure everybody in the group was comfortable with the pace and kept informed about what was happening. The poxt walk coffee/drinks stop was definitely a case of going the extra mile! Definitely Recommended!!

Paulo was excellent on our tour! It was quite a leisure walk, with some inclines but nothing too strenuous. Lovely views! Definitely bring waterproof shoes as the tunnels are quite wet.

We were collected on time and had a pleasant drive to the start point. Our guide was very considerate of our safet, priding torches for the tunnel and tailed the walk to our needs. Our guide was very interesting and well informed about the environment, flora and fauna of the area. He allowed ample time to take photos and look at the native vegetation and birds. We would certainly book with them again and recommend them to friends.

The hike was excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area, and very considerate about our abilities. As a 75 year old I was initially concerned about keeping up. I needn't have worried and I felt well looked after. Beautiful scenery and an amazing waterfall.

Bring proper waterproof walking shoes. The walk was relatively flat but be prepared to climb steep steps
