Itinerary
Explore an indigenous market in Saquisili or Pujili. On our way to the lagoon we will find two towns where there are picturesque vegetable, fruit and animal markets such as the Saquisilí market or the Pujilí market.
Tigua community - Known for her paintings, which are made with “the naif technique” (showing simplicity and spontaneity), portraying the Andean paramo
Indigenous family - Before reaching our main destination, we will make a stop to visit an indigenous family.
The Toachi River canon is located near the Quilotoa lagoon and thanks to it this slope of more than 150 meters deep was formed
When we arrive, we can take photos from the viewpoint, from here we will have an excellent point to take photographs of the Quilotoa Lagoon. If possible we will take a walk on the edge of the lagoon, if you wish we can go down to the bottom of the lagoon where we can do activities such as kayaking in the lagoon
Lunch at Chukirahua Hosteria a local restaurant overlooking the lagoon
Return to Quito - Finally we will return to the city of Quito or the Mariscal Sucre airport
