Keep your eyes open for a chance to see toucans, sloths, monkeys and other exotic wildlife. After canyoning, you’ll head back to Pure Trek’s headquarters to enjoy in a delicious, garden-fresh lunch. Pickup Locations & Times
We will pick you up from any hotel LISTED or vacation rental within La Fortuna. Pick-up locations not listed or outside our pick-up zone are subject to extra charges. Please note that the exact pick-up time depends on your hotel location: - For our 8:00 am tour: pick-ups will be from 6:45 am to 7:50 am. - For our 9:00 am tour: pick-ups will be from 7:45 am to 8:50 am. - For our 1:00 pm tour: pick-ups will be from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm.

This waterfall rappelling experience was one of the highlights of our trip to La Fortuna! The staff was incredible—professional, encouraging, and they made us feel completely safe from start to finish. The waterfall rappelling and monkey drop (controlled free fall jump) was so much fun, exhilarating without ever feeling overwhelming. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the entire experience was incredibly well organized. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend Pure Trek Canyoning to anyone visiting the area!
Highly recommended experience for active people visiting La Fortuna. Breathtaking waterfalls, lush green rainforest trails leading up or down to the rappels. Everyone we came in contact with was extremely happy, nice, and helpful. Very well organized and safe. They have thought of every detail to provide an adrenaline rich unforgettable experience. What an amazing experience! We have been all around the world and I can honestly say this was, by far, our top excursion. One thing I cannot stand is an over packed, super generic, tourist trap. This was none of the above. It was authentic, the guides were knowledgeable, and, hands down, the experience was exhilarating and just incredible. Don’t think about it … just book it. You will have the time of your life! So much fun!

The rappelling was great and one of my favorite activities at La Fortuna. The monkey drop and the last rappel were our favorite. Would definitely do this again.
This was a very unique experience for our group! We really enjoyed the thrill and challenge of the experience. Be brave because it's worth it. We always felt safe, but one of the rappels was really high and some of us closed our eyes on the monkey drop. :) If you are an even moderately brave group, I recommend this excursion. Physical and mental strength are beneficial to enjoy it!
