Charlie was amazing today. So knowledgeable and interactive - made the experience.
We had a 45 minute guided tour along the back of the colleges on the River Cam. It was enjoyable and informative. It wasn’t at all relaxing though as so many punts were on the river that they were constantly banging into each other.
A very enjoyable tour. Very knowledgeable guide called Harry. This was followed by the Alumni walking tour with a guid called TJ. Again incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining
Stan was a brilliant guide. Well informed and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour company.
A lovely way to spend a bit of time whilst in Cambridge and see parts that you can not ordinarily access. We booked directly with the operator on the day and negotiated a price, this is the best top tip, don't pay the advertised price as they almost seem to expect negotiation. Our guide was friendly and informative. There is the bonus if you wish of a 'Pimms' boat on the river where you can purchase drinks if you wish whilst you float along.
Horace was a great guide and was full of historical knowledge! The journey is so beautiful ! Highly recommended
We negotiated a price to take a punting boat on the Cam during our visit to Cambridge. The prices are quite expensive, however, we managed to get £20 off the price. Obi was safe on the boat, and we shared the boat with some other tourists (sadly, one of them was a bit of a know it all, and at times it was hard to hear the punters travel info because of it). The tour last around 45 minutes.
It was nice and Nick was informative but I didn't like how he asked us answers to the historical questions before telling us the info. I'm not a history buff so it made me feel a bit thick and patronised. Also the pricing of the trip was advertised at an inflated price which apparently many do pay, unless you enter into a negotiation on the riverbank to get it cheaper. All a bit unnecessary and unfair to some who end up getting loyally ripped off.
Our guide Romily was absolutely brilliant! Acted like true PRO!!
Great tour , very interesting, and Alex was very knowledgeable and funny .
