Being Self-Guided you can go wherever you want and what makes this activity so special is the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural heart of Costa Rica in a relaxing and exciting way at the same time. Imagine kayaking watching limpets, sloths, turtles and other animals through the calm waters of the river for two hours, with the freedom to share the experience with up to three companions. You will have at your disposal binoculars to not miss a detail of the fascinating wildlife that thrives in this pristine environment: from the howls of monkeys to the serenity of sloths and the vibrant colors of limpets. And at the end of your kayaking adventure, a refreshing and authentic reward awaits: pipe water and fresh fruits to revitalize you. Plus, for added convenience, you can opt for our scenic Tuk Tuk shuttle (at an additional fee). It is an intimate connection with Costa Rican nature that you will always remember.

Such a fun and peaceful experience. Getting to go at our own pace and see the nature was incredible! The fruit at the end was a wonderful touch!
We had two double kayaks, which were great. The creek/ river really took us into nature and we saw monkeys, turtles and many types of bird. It was really peaceful, as we were the only people there. We went quite slowly but we're still back in about 90mins
This is such a fun and beautiful experience! We saw so much wildlife and the loved the fruit at the end. I enjoyed that we were able to go off and explore on our own. The equipment is very nice and the couple running the business/tours are very kind. 10/10✨

was absolutely amazing! Ericka and Gabriel are fantastic very kind humans and made the experience very delightful. The kayaking was very fun and we saw howler monkeys and it felt like it was something out of the Hunger Games! So cool! We ended with an amazing spread of fruit on the beach with a nice romantic table with a view of the sunset and the beach

Ericka and Gabriel greeted us very nicely, explained everything and we could paddle off quite calmly alone. The ride is very nice, unfortunately we did not see so many animals. Maybe it was the time (1pm), it's probably better in the morning? When we arrived again, we were welcomed with very fresh fruit, a nice finish and very delicious! We can recommend the ride!!!

Die Natur ist zwar unberechenbar, aber der frühe Morgen (gegen 6:30 oder 7:00 Uhr) ist in der Regel die beste Zeit, um die meisten Tiere zu beobachten, da sie vor der Mittagshitze aktiver sind. The couple that escorted us were so kind so sweet and so helpful. When we returned, we had the most beautiful table set up with all kinds of fruits to eat. They allowed us to swim in the beach for a little while and had a great conversation. We would absolutely recommend this experience we saw monkeys and sloths.

Amazing tour, very well organized. We got instructions and then could head off on our own, which we really liked, as we could stop and see plants and animals whenever we wanted. We got binoculars and in the end they prepared a great selection of fruits in a beatiful location from which we could observe the river and the sea.

Very relaxing experience! We had two hours on the kayaks and saw howler monkeys, lemurs, a sloth, turtles, and frogs. Two of the four in our group had no experience kayaking but the tour operators gave us detailed instructions, and the water was very calm so it was easy even for older people. The operators were friendly and warm, and there was fresh fruit and coconut water waiting for us afterwards. Although a small operation, they are well worth it. It’s great supporting a small local business like this.
