Today it is one of the main tourist attractions, with its house museum and botanical gardens that welcome many plant species. It is possible to visit the gardens, booking in advance on the Villa site
Heaven's Gate: Famous for its spectacular storey botanical gardens, it houses the iconic 'Heaven's Gate', a monumental gate that frames the lake in a divine way.
We will skirt the east coast admiring Villa Orlando, Villa La Placida and Villa Trivulzio, magnificent historic residences surrounded by greenery and the famous gardens of Villa Melzi that frame the entrance to Bellagio.
We will end the tour with a breathtaking view of the Bellagio promontory and its historic village, the "heart" of Lake Como.

We had an amazing experience renting a boat on Lake Como with Matteo. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The boat was beautiful and in excellent condition, and the entire trip was tailored specifically to our preferences. Matteo picked us up exactly where we wanted and, at the end of the tour, dropped us off at Villa del Balbianello, where we had a guided visit planned. It made our day so much more convenient and enjoyable. As a lovely touch, Matteo also offered us a bottle of Prosecco and water, which made the cruise even more relaxing and enjoyable. During the cruise, Matteo shared interesting stories about Lake Como, its famous villas, luxury hotels, and local landmarks, which made the experience even more memorable. What impressed us the most was his kindness and flexibility. We had unexpected problems with our rental car at the airport and ended up arriving almost an hour and a half late. We called Matteo on our way to explain the situation and asked if it would be possible to move our tour to a later time. Without hesitation, he kindly agreed and waited for us, which we truly appreciated. Mateo was unbelievable. He showed up around lake como and was very kind and patient. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. He gave us water and prosecco champagne. The only hole thing was great

This sunset cruise was amazing. Lake Como is gorgeous and riding a boat along the shores looking at stunning landscapes was a dream. Mateo is absolutely fantastic. He knew so much about the lake, the history, the stories and beyond. We got so much more from him than just a boat ride. Mateo made the entire trip fantastic from start to finish.
