Built over an ancient mosque of which there are still remains, the Cathedral of Seville is considered the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, and one of the most spectacular in Europe. Here we can find the tomb of Christopher Columbus, always surrounded by controversy.
With its almost 100 meters high, the Giralda of Seville is undoubtedly one of the symbols of this monumental city. Former minaret of the mosque of the city, in Christian times it was reused to be the tower of the Cathedral. Enjoy the views from what was until recently the highest point of the city.
Beginning its construction in Islamic times, the Alcazar of Seville is a mixture of styles that will not leave you indifferent. Its rooms, patios and gardens are worthy of the splendor that this city lived in the past. Today it is still the residence of the Spanish monarchy on their trips to Seville.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Seville and the Alcazar in particular. She also took us to a couple of places off the tourist track. We also appreciated her keeping us under shelter and shade as much as possible given the heat.

We had a wonderful tour of Seville with Christina. She did an excellent job showing us the Seville Cathedral, the Royal Palace of Seville, and the Jewish Quarter. Christina was very knowledgeable, explained the history clearly, and made everything interesting and easy to understand for our whole family. She was patient, friendly, and kept everyone engaged throughout the tour. The only negative was that the microphone/audio equipment was poor and really needs to be updated, since it was difficult to hear clearly at times. Aside from that, the tour was excellent. We learned so much and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Christina to anyone visiting Seville!
