Admiring nature in China, I joined my husband on a tour of western Sichuan. We were both in our 60s and although we worked out every day, we were also a little anxious about travelling at high altitudes. However, we have had a great tour and feel really good about being part of it! I admired the spectacular scenery of China and was also very pleased with the efficient program and the attentive service. They prepared oxygen cans and glucose to prevent altitude sickness, and they also bought travel accident insurance in advance. In addition, before we left, we were impressed by the care with which our concierge Yong Bing gave us pre-trip advice! I spent a lot of time in the car, travelling between cities, and the drivers were very kind and good drivers. My guide, who is familiar with the local history and culture, introduced me to the tourist destinations and I learned a lot about China. They also told me about some of the best local restaurants, and they tasted like they had never tasted anything before. There were some days when the weather was not good, but they made the trip really enjoyable.
