In the morning, your guide will greet you at your hotel lobby at the pre-agreed time. Then let’s set out to witness thousands of grotesque karst peaks in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Upon arrival, ride the Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest cliffside sightseeing lift, which will whisk you to the summit in 88 seconds and allow you to have a first view of the karst pillars.
Get out of the elevator to reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where you can feast your eyes on the extraordinary sights like the ‘Avatar’-filmed Hallelujah Mountain, Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and No.1 Bridge under Heaven. Feel free to pack some snacks to keep your energy up, or opt for a self-funded lunch. Dining options on the mountain are limited, and the local dishes tend to be quite salty and spicy. For a lighter, more familiar meal, fast-food outlets like Dicos at Yuanjiajie and McDonald's at Tianzi Mountain are better choices.
In the afternoon, take the eco-bus of the park to Yangjiajie Scenic Area, featuring dozens of naturally formed peak walls collectively known as the Natural Great Wall.
Admire more odd-shaped peaks soaring into the clouds, including the Imperial Brush Peaks, Flower Fairy Peaks, and Commanding Terrace. Afterward, get down the mountain by a scenic cable car ride.
Your Zhangjiajie day tour comes to an end, and your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel. Thank you for traveling with us! A friend and I joined a two-day tour in Zhangjiajie, China, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. On the first day, we explored the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park with our guide, Tracy. On the second day, as scheduled, Laura guided us through the Glass Bridge and the Heavenly Gate (Tianmen Mountain). Both days were exceptionally well organized, and each destination offered breathtaking scenery and unforgettable experiences. From start to finish the tour was so well organised! Bay-Lee was on the ball from the minute go. Her English was brilliant this helped when we where pn the tour. She was very informative and knew her stuff ! Would recommened her and the tour everytime. 10 outta 10 couldny fault it. Wpuld maybe book zipline and boat in advanced as it wasnt included in this tour.

The experience from start to finish was amazing! Laura's energy from the get go kept everyone upbeat and ready for a good time. The whole tour was flawless , the way it was organised juat flowed so well with our day! Laura made sure we had plenty of options for places to eat , drink and most importantly pee! If I could give one recommendation it would be to take plenty of loo roll up the mountains, the toilets arnt the prettiest. Laura took loads of photos for us aswell and this was greatly appreciated. 10 outta 10 would highly recommend

Laura was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, caring and funny. She kept us on good pace without rushing. We saw so many top Zhang Jia Jie spots in one day, it felt like a week of travel! In many cases, she gave us possible quick side trips for those who were not tired. Lunch was incredible, away from the crowds, very high quality Cantonese / Sichuan restaurant with reasonable prices and very fast service. 16,000 steps, 7 hours, lifelong memories - THANK YOU Laura!
