You will visit one winery, where you will have a private tour of the estate and wine cellars and receive a full explanation of wine making. Afterwards, you will be tasting and drinking top-end wines produced by the winery itself. How often do you have the owner and winemaker entirely taking care of your meal? He is the descendant of a historical family from Florence, involved in the chain production of quality wines. The aromatic flavors of extra virgin olive oil will be savored with a consistent dinner that includes the most typical Tuscan dishes. You will get to eat inside the modern, yet traditional house of the wine producers, in an ambiance of warmth and intimacy.

Pick you up from your accommodation in Florence at 5 pm. Our driver will normally be at your address at 4,45pm. We will then drive to the first winery which will take approximately 50 minutes..
It is a family-run winery that first started its production in 2012, which can be perceived in the lively character specific to young wines. But the history of the estate dates back to the end of the 1800s, when the founder Gualtiero managed to buy the first vineyards in Mercatale Val di Pesa, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. Upon his death, one of his sons came with a new vision, planted new vineyards, bought new land and a fifteenth-century villa, which became the centerpiece of the property. The estate is located in the area of Chianti Classico Fiorentino and comprises vineyards, olive groves and forests. The varieties of grapes are typical of the territory, such as Sangiovese, Colorino and Canaiolo but also international varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine cellars used in the 1400s were renovated to meet the needs of modern winemaking. In addition, a barn dating back to the 18th century has been restructured to serve as a wine cellar.
Your guide for the day will drop you back to where you were picked up. Guides can drop clients back to other locations with prior notice.

This private tour was absolutely wonderful. We'd booked it mainly for Michelle, since I'm not a wine drinker. Well, to my surprise, it turns out that not only do I like some wines, but I enjoyed several on the tour! The tour took us to two Chianti wineries, both of which we enjoyed very much. The first had some of its process tanks(?) contained in the cellar of a 10th-century church! They also produced their own gin, which I liked enough to have shipped to me back here in the states. The second winery was also quite lovely, and the dinner that the matriarch of that winery was nothing less than beautiful. We had wine with each course, which I found to be an interesting new experience. Finally, our tour guide was spectacular. He had a steady stream of stories to tell about all the places we were seeing or stopping at, and he caught on to our preferences (i.e., we like a good amount of detail in stories) quickly, and fed them with relish. All told, the whole day was one of those once-in-a-lifetime memories for us. We recommend Enotropea unreservedly.

Private tour with a very knowledgeable local sommelier(Daria). Visited 2 separate facilities- each unique and very informative. It should go without saying the wine was FANTASTIC and the meal at the second winery was amazing as well. A very worthwhile experience for my wife and i on our 10yr anniversary to Italy! Would Highly recommend to anyone looking for something more than just a tour.

This tour was fantastic! We loved going to two Chianti Classico wineries and having dinner at one of them. The scenery was beautiful, and the wine and food was outstanding. Our guide, Johnny, was excellent and extremely informative. We would highly recommend this tour.

Truly amazing experience and one of our main highlights during a recent Italy trip at the end of August! If you’re looking for a great private experience this is it. We had Angelo as our guide who has amazing experience and is one of only couple hundred Master Sommelier in the world. His knowledge was outstanding and educational for us. He chooses local small wineries that are typically owned and run by a family. We visited two wineries in beautiful Tuscan countryside settings and got the tours by the owners themselves and their passion was truly outstanding and affectionate. We learned a lot, tasted amazing wine, had amazing food and finished with an amazing dinner paired with the perfect bottle of wine overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The tour was definitely worth the money, the tour might not be the cheapest option but you won’t regret it. Angelo and all the wineries families we met were super friendly, attentive and spend as much time as we wanted with us, answering all our questions, sharing their passion for wine and explaining many aspects about wine we never knew. We can’t recommend the tour highly enough.
