Good experience with Ruben (guide). Explained all critical aspects. Also took care of our well being as it was our first day in Cusco.
It was very convenient that the tour guide picked me up directly from the hotel, and since I started quite early in the morning, I arrived in Pisaq and was able to explore it with almost no crowds at all (great for taking lots of pictures). He was knowledgeable and quite fluent in English to explain the history and culture of each place we visited e.g. from the Pisaq ruins to the market town and to the llama farm. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable and personalised experience.
What I loved most was the personal touch. Our guide introduced us to a family at the market who explained how they make their textiles. It didn’t feel like a staged experience. The ruins were peaceful, and I had time to wander and take photos without rushing.
Victor was excellent guide. Informative and helpful, providing historical perspective. Took pictures, which was great, as I was solo traveller. The hike is scenic, but not easy. Lots of steps. Took almost 3 hours.
We had a fantastic day visiting these sites. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history, geography, flora and fauna of the region. His English was fantastic and he was able to answer every question we had. I thoroughly recommend this experience.
