Itinerary

180 min

Embark on a breathtaking journey through time as you explore the illustrious Angkor Wat. Be awestruck by this architectural marvel, the largest religious monument globally spread across a staggering 400 acres. Marvel at the pinnacle of Khmer architecture, painstakingly built in the 12th century (1113-1150) as a timeless testament of human spirit and artistry. In the heart of Cambodia, delve deep into the country's rich history and heritage. The intricate carvings, towering structures, and the lingering aura of grandeur promise to leave you spellbound. There is so much more to Angkor Wat that awaits you, and there is no better way to discover it than this personalized TukTuk Tour.

120 min

Your next stop is Bayon Temple - a symbol of religious evolution and a chronicler of medieval Cambodian life. As the Angkor Empire's singular Buddhist temple, Bayon bears testimony to the spiritual metamorphosis of the time. The temple's famous bas-reliefs do more than just adorn the stone walls; they serve as a narrative, painting vivid pictures of battles and quotidian life during the 12th and 13th centuries. As you stroll through this ancient chronicle, each stone and carving unveils a story, marking the passage of time and the transformation of society. An exploration of Bayon is not simply a tour, but a dramatic journey through the heart of Cambodian culture and history.

120 min

Prepare to be enthralled by Ta Keo, the monument that marked a significant turning point in Khmer architectural history. As the first temple constructed entirely of sandstone, Ta Keo stands as a testament to the technological progression and the meticulous craftsmanship of the ancient Khmer builders. The huge blocks of stone, uniformly cut and expertly arranged, showcase a level of precision and understanding of geometric harmony that is awe-inspiring - a true testament to human ingenuity and architectural might. As you walk through the formidable structures, you are walking through pages of history that are etched in sandstone, unfolding stories of a time long past.

120 min

Your next stop is the mesmerizing Ta Prohm Temple. Constructed in 1186 and originally designated Rajavihara or 'Monastery of the King,' this Buddhist temple was devoted to Jayavarman VII's mother. The unique charm of Ta Prohm lies in its harmonious merge of man-made architecture and natural elements. Over centuries, sprawling tree roots have entwined with the temple's stone structures, presenting a striking tableau of nature gradually reclaiming its dominion. This visual spectacle captures a poetic blend of nature's resilience and mankind's transience, creating an experience that both humbles and awes. Witness the enchanting dance between nature and architecture at Ta Prohm, a sight that will stay etched in your memory.

60 min

Your journey continues to Banteay Kdei, often hailed as the epitome of Angkorian artistry. Crafted from a unique pinkish-hued stone, Banteay Kdei is home to some of the finest stone carvings on the planet. Despite its commencement in 967 CE, the temple's grandeur transcends time. While it is among the smaller sites at Angkor, Banteay Kdei more than compensates for its size with its architectural magnificence and intricate craftsmanship. As you navigate the enchanting corridors, every nook and alcove resonates with the echoes of history and the whispers of artistry that is truly one-of-a-kind. Banteay Kdei is not merely a site to visit; it is an experience to cherish.

5 star service!

We went around the world with our family in 2023-2024. We arrived in Siem Riep in November 2023. We met Sok around the corner of our first walk in the city and contact went straight through. Thanks to him we enjoyed the best moments at the temples of Angkor, we admired a sunset, followed by the sunrise over the temples. Sok also introduced us to the Apsara Dancing Show and its fabulous buffet!!! Sok is kind, good advice and very friendly, even in his prices!!! Available on whatsapp, we warmly recommend and will call on him if we ever return to the area!! Sincerely and with our Kind regard!! The Belgian Family: 5ever!

2 days tour at Ankor with Sok

I took a 2-day tour of Ankor temples with a friend accompanied by Sok. It was great, he accompanied us for the whole two days and he was super flexible compared to what we wanted to do + the weather. He kindly offered us bottles of water throughout our trip, it was with great pleasure because it was hot.

Don’t trust this guy! Scammer!

Never sign up for this tour! This man tries to trick tourists into taking more money. We were travelling with two women and they said we would explain instead of Guide, but this guy was just a screwdriver and wouldn't Guide us. I don't have a license for the Guide. And when he complained that it wasn't what he was hearing, he yelled, "We're going to the police!" We were so scared we paid extra. I'm US50 for two. It spread to reviews, hotel staff, and others to ensure that no more victims were found. Never sign up. Do not offer for this tour! This man tries to scam tourists and take their money. We were traveling two women, and we were told that he would explain to us instead of the guide, but this man was just a driver and did not guide us. He does not have a guide license. When we complained that it was different from what we had heard, he shouted, "I'm going to call the police!" and we were so scared that we paid extra. It was US50 for two people. We spread the word to reviews and hotel staff so that there would be no more victims. Do not sign up for this tour.

A friendly, safe and knowledgeable service

Pow was an excellent driver, reliable, good communication via WhatsApp, gave good local advice and also respected our ideas and plans. Pow drove us from the bus terminal to our accommodation, to Apopo rats and the Phare circus, then an early start to visit Angkor Watt and 2 other temples. He looked after us and our 3 children so well, gave us advice about which temples to see and shared his local knowledge of their history. He gave us cold water after each drop off and helped us to find good clean toilet stops too. His driving was safe and direct. We would highly recommend Pow and his excellent tuk tuk service! A aged 9 says: ‘ Pow is funny and amazing and he let me try his hammock’.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide, excellent English, cold beer between temple visits, unforgettable day.

I had the pleasure of having Sok as my tuk tuk driver while visiting the temples in Angkor Wat. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, providing insightful information throughout the day. His English was fantastic, which made communication easy and enjoyable. Sok went above and beyond by providing cold beer for the journeys between temples, making the day even more memorable. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Sok for anyone visiting Angkor Wat.

Highly recommend to book this tour!

My husband and I had such an amazing time in Siem Reap, and all thanks to Sok! He is very friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and always wants to make sure you are having a good time. He gives good recommendations about what to see and what to visit there. When we visited it was +42 Celsius but driving Tuk Tuk between the sites was perfect and soooo refreshing ( much better than AC in the car). We learned so much from him about Cambodia, its culture and people. We highly recommend to book a tour with him. Also, instead of prebooking taxi round trip with the hotel, please consider contacting him first.

POW The Legend and Beyond!

POW is a Legend...with a great sense of humor! We had so much fun with him. He was always punctual, even at 4:30 a.m. to see the sunrise at Angkor. He provided cold water throughout the day for us, as well. Highly recommend!
