This Full Day Tour Exploring Machu Picchu will take us on a charming tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will travel by train following the course of the Vilcanota River, in which you will be able to get the best views of the impressive landscapes of the cloud forest, as well as the abundant and diverse flora and fauna. Machu Picchu was one of the important cities where the Incas resided and the upper class of society resided in the Inca times. That’s why its buildings and walls are perfectly well made. Enjoy and feel the magic of the Andes and the energy of mysticism fill with magic all your experience in this impressive tour.

Itinerary
We will pick you up early from your hotel and leave for the Sacred Valley until we reach Ollantaytambo. From Ollantaytambo, we will board our train heading to “Aguas Calientes”. Also, in the course of the river, we will see beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley, arriving at “Aguas Calientes”. Our guide will wait for you to board one of the buses that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu. The guided tour will last approximately 02 hours; the guide will give you all the information about the Historical Sanctuary. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the site and visit the other sectors of the Sanctuary on your own. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Finally, we will drop you off at your respective hotel.

My tour guide was Julio Cesar (JC). He was absolutely fantastic. I was traveling solo, so I got to spend an entire day one on one with him while he explained everything about the history of Machu Pichu. He is very informative and has great connections with the locals. I would love to do another trip with him in the future
Our tour guide, JC, is one of the best tour guide we’ve had! He’s very patient, knowledgeable and I can tell he’s very experienced. He knows all the answers we had in our curious minds. He didn’t only help us with Machu Picchu but even with finding good restaurants for us around the area, where to buy souvenirs with reasonable prices and even gave us useful tips for our next trips outside his assigned schedule with us! We traveled with Franklin guide and everything was very enjoyable, even helped us take several photos and videos, I recommend visiting Moray, salt flats and Machu picchu.

We traveled with Franklin to MORAY, Salineras and Machu Picchu privately, an amazing experience. Franklin gives you detailed explanation of each topic and solves your doubts and questions, excellent person and very attentive. He recommends good places to eat and takes very good photos, if you are going to do this tour I recommend them from Mexico.

The booked tour was cancelled a few hours after the booking confirmation by the organizer - there would be no more tickets. We are still waiting for the money to be repaid. Shit!

Your booking request was received on July 11th at 10:55 a.m. via the Tripadvisor/Viator platform, who sent us the reservation as intermediaries. That same day, at 1:45 p.m., we proceeded with the official cancellation after verifying that there were no available entrance tickets to Machu Picchu for the requested date: July 21st. We would like to clarify that ticket availability for Machu Picchu is managed solely by the Ministry of Culture of Peru, not by us as the local operator. The official ticketing system operates in real time and is accessed simultaneously by thousands of agencies and users, which means that availability can disappear within minutes. Although the platform may have shown availability at the time of booking, by the time we checked the official system, the tickets were already sold out. As a responsible operator, we are obligated to verify the actual availability of all services before sending a formal confirmation to the passenger. In your case, no confirmation was sent and no passenger details were requested, precisely because we could not move forward without ensuring that entrance to Machu Picchu was guaranteed. Out of respect and transparency, we chose to act quickly and cancel the reservation immediately to avoid causing you any further inconvenience or unnecessary charges. It is also important to highlight that, upon cancellation, we immediately requested a refund through the platform, which is also acting diligently to return your payment. According to their policy, this process may take between 3 to 7 business days, depending on your payment method and bank processing times. From our side, we have acted ethically, transparently, and swiftly, with the sole purpose of protecting your interests. We fully understand your frustration, but please rest assured that our intention was never to negatively impact your experience, but rather to protect you from a situation beyond our control. Paul Cano is the best tour guide and a great person. He has such extensive knowledge of everything regarding Peru and Cusco that there was not a question left unanswered.
