While you are on the road, you will enjoy amazing nature views, seeing a little of the mexican southeast culture. Furthermore, there are many sightseeing stops for you to choose from 1 or 2 of them that you can enjoy during the 4 hours of stop. Either 1 stop for 4 hours, or 2 stops for 2 hours each. Since there are many options, like archeological zones or more fun activities, we recommend you to stop in the mayan parks and some of the cenotes in the area.

Itinerary
It's one of the most important archeological zones in the state of Quintana Roo. Tulum means "enclosure or wall", so you will be able to see a lot of the Mayan culture within these walls. This city was built on a cliff from which you can see the turquoise shades of the Caribbean Sea in all its splendor.
This Mayan site is still largely unexcavated; however, visitors can enjoy shaded walkways in the original roads and see 3 settlements that show the architecture, 2 ball courts and climb the highest Mayan pyramid. Archeologists have estimated that 6,000 structures exist, but only 3 settlements are for public viewing.

So the sales pitch is Cancun to Tulum with some stops and 4h free time BUT be aware if you’re not 100% explicit on the stops they will just scam you and avoid taking you to Tulum. You’ll spend all day in a van with a not so English speaking driver, no lunch no nothing. DEFINITELY not a Cancun to Tulum ride, just some stops if you get it right from the false advertisement they have.

Your reservation was from Cancun to Tulum and back to Cancun, with a few options for you to choose from on where to spend the 4 hours (2 hours per place). You choose Cobá Archeological Site, and Tulum Archeological Site. Not Tulum downtown or the beach, nor the available cenotes options. We stuck to what you requested and that's what we provided in a van, which we sent instead of a sedan (which is what you booked) with no extra charge. Our driver explained to you that this was the reason he couldn't take you to another place. We're sorry you feel this way. We'd love to assist you again in the future.
