Itinerary
What does minnewater mean? This is the Dutch name for the lake, which is made up of two Dutch words: minne, which means both "common" and "love", and water, which means "water". Thus, the most correct translation would mean translating the word minne as "common", since these were the "common waters, community waters, everyone's water" since it was where the old port of Bruges was located, a site closely linked to the city and the daily life of its citizens. Today, the square serves as e meeting place for the locals and the three tot four million visitors who flock to the town every year. The most striking building is without any doubt the Belfry.
The beguinage is one of the most representative complexes of Bruges, a prelude to what you will find in this magical city, an environment anchored in the Middle Ages immersed in a sea of tranquility. In addition, it is declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
You will have the opportunity to take beautiful photos from the small bridge. Go ahead without stopping
The basilica in Burg square consists of a lower and upper chapel. The lower chapel, dedicated to St. Basil the Great, is a dark Romanesque structure that remains virtually unchanged. The venerated Passion relic is in the upper chapel, which was rebuilt in the Gothic style in the 16th century and renovated in the 19th century in Gothic Revival style.
you can enjoy a boat ride through the city's canals.
Burg Square is the political center of Bruges, a charming place where architecture lovers can enjoy buildings of different styles that have been erected over more than a thousand years of history.

It was a nice place. Our guide was knowledgeable but rude. He would take phone calls and just keep walking. Conducting other business while on our time. Not very professional
Great day tour to the beautiful cities of Bruges and Gent Takes you through the important places and monuments !! Lot of walking involved, as is normal in most European cities. The pleasent sunny weather was perfect for the outing. Multiple languages available. Avoid the restaurants recommended by the guide, as they are expensive and recommended so that the driver and guide gets free lunch. Also includes an optional boat ride for 8 euro at Bruges.
thanks. a lot :) it's a pleasure for me !
