Nice guides but that’s about it

Paid for entrance of Kasbah, did not go. Paid for entrance to Mosha Synagogue, we just drove by it Paid for entrance to American Legation museum, just drove by it. Tried to communicate with the tour company twice before our trip but they never responded. We got off of our cruise ship and there was no one there to greet us. Luckily a kind tour guide knew our tour company and called them to let us know we were there. Once we met them, they didn’t even know what tour we had paid for. Our driver was nice but we spent the first four of the six hours with only him so we learned very little about the historical sites we visited. Again he was very nice but admitted that his English was not very good. Lunch in the Medina was nice and slow paced. Once we got to the Medina, our guide just directed us to shops without providing us with much history. Again he too was nice but spent a lot of the tour through the Medina on his cell phone. Highlight of the tour was mint tea at Cap Spartel

Tour spoiled by terrible guide from Andalusian Tours

Our first choice in tours was cancelled days before our arrival so we rebooked with private tour. On the day before our tour, we were further notified that we had been grouped with other tours. What we had paid for was a 4 hour private tour which included lunch. We got grouped with others who had different time schedules and who had not paid for lunch. We only realized this as we seems to run short of time according to some on our tour. The tour itself was fine from the bus ride around the city, the camel ride in the beach, the tour of the Kasbah, and the lunch. The reason we were so dissatisfied with the tour was the guide from Andalusian Tours ( Mehdi). His meeting spot was away from the general meeting area, so we had trouble finding him to begin with. He then made us feel uncomfortable by telling us, multiple times, that we knew nothing of him ( and the people of Tangier and probably Sunni Muslims in general) but he knew everything about us. This was despite the fact that he never asked what any of us knew or where we have traveled before. We are used to having guides who take pride in their country and see this as a positive. In this case, his frequent sermons on the advantages of life in Morocco first stretched the believable then became the outrageous. At one point to a tour of majority women from Canada and the US, he lectured us on why Muslim women are better off because they have more rights. If you grew tired of his sermons, he would lecture you on not paying attention. These were not merely uncomfortable moments but a series of increasingly offensive diatribes. Collectively we ended the tour early with many in our tour disappointed in what we didn’t get a chance to see but no one wanted to spend more time with our guide. Mehdi of Andalusian Tours should not be a tour guide.

Tangier city tour

The trip and tour guide good but end the trip, the tour guide said that we need to pay 16 euro. When we made reservation, it didn't said we need to pay this amount, I think is not fair.

Absolute informality.

You should not hire this company because after agreeing on a price and a pickup time, they showed up with a dirty car and broken seats. They are not reliable as they had offered a high-end car. They made us lose the entire day because they told us they were sending another car, and after waiting for more than an hour, no one came. For a cruise, it is not recommended since you know that time is extremely important.

Perfect Tour During Our Cruise Stop

We booked this private tour while our cruise ship was visiting Tangier and it was an excellent decision. Mehdi was waiting for us when we arrived and immediately made us feel welcome. He guided us through several interesting areas of the city while explaining the history and culture in a very engaging way. Mehdi clearly loves his city and it shows in the way he shares it with visitors. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to spend our time in Tangier.

A Smart Choice for Cruise Travelers.

Booking a private tour instead of a ship excursion was the best decision we made. Mehdi picked us up right at the cruise terminal and made excellent use of our time in Tangier. The experience felt authentic, comfortable, and well organized. We would absolutely book again.

Perfect cruise day in Tangier

We booked this full day private tour directly from our cruise ship and it was absolutely flawless. Mehdi met us right at the port on time and took care of everything for the day. The tour was relaxed, well paced and incredibly informative. We saw so much of Tangier and still made it back to the ship with plenty of time. This is the best way to explore the city in a cruise stop.

Best Shore Excursion We've Done.

We've done many cruise excursions, and this one stands out. Mehdi met us directly at the port and designed a fantastic full-day experience. The pace was comfortable, the vehicle was very nice, and we learned so much about Tangier and Moroccan culture. It never felt rushed or crowded. Five stars without question.

Exceeded Our Expectations.

This full-day private tour from the cruise port was one of the highlights of our trip. Mehdi was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He showed us major sights as well as local areas we would never have found on our own. The day flowed perfectly and felt customized to us. Highly recommended for cruise passengers.
