Description
This private tour picks you up in Siem Reap and takes you out to the 7th century temples at Sambor Prei Kuk. These limestone temples are even older than those by Angkor Wat, and were built by King Citrasena Mahendravarman of Funan in the pre-Angkorian era. Aside from their age and fascinating history, some of the temples are covered in tree roots—making for excellent photos—and your guide will tell you all about the area's ancient past.

Amazing ancient temples that survived with time though many were already gone. My ticket to the temple included a resident guide who spoke very good englis, very knowledgeable and patience. The whole tour lasted about 90min on foot. Hence, put on walking shoes, apply sunblock lotion if need be and carry a bottle of water with you.
