Itinerary
We’ll explore the heart of the Rioja region, including the charming town of Laguardia—often called “the wine capital.” Steeped in history, Laguardia has preserved its original medieval character, with narrow cobbled streets, stone walls, and a timeless atmosphere that transports visitors back in time. Our visit continues with a guided tour and wine tasting at a local winery, where you’ll learn about Rioja’s winemaking traditions.
We’ll then enjoy a traditional Riojan lunch, perfectly paired with regional wines for a truly authentic experience.

Very interesting and informative trip. Javier is excellent guide towards Basque culture, cuisine and wine. My husband and I really enjoy his guide and company along the way.
Great to know everything was to your liking. See you soon!
Luis Canas vineyard was great. Good wine, informative and passionate host Marta, and good charcuterie. Just a very pleasant stay without time pressure. Eider was a great host. She is still learning about some of the history in the region, and she is proud of her heritage. We only had one other couple with whom we excellent discussions during the 1.5 to 2 hour ride from San Sebastian. The whole schedule was flexible and relaxing.
We’re glad you enjoyed Luis Cañas vineyard, the wine, and Marta’s passion, as well as the relaxing, flexible schedule! Thank you for for taking the time to give us your feedback!
