A sinkhole (pothole) appeared on the Cebu International Airport - Cebu Pacific canceled our flight to Palawan. The next flight able to accommodate us was after we left the Philippines. I attempted a request a refund even though the T&C stated non-refundable.
Picked up by van at Cruise port. Wife also booked but not feeling well. So just the guide, driver and myself all day. Fast trip over the hill on winding road, faster than necessary. If one got motion sickness then look out. Boat ride on lumpy sea to cave beach. Small canoe ride with 10 people inside the cave river. Awesome geology. Appropriate to be classified as a Wonder of Nature. Very good earpiece narrative. Then boat ride back to lunch. Good Asian buffet. Then to Ugong cave walk which was fun then short zip line part of package. Then back to port. Overall a very good experience. Guide was very helpful and informative and moved fast through the large crowds. I was well looked after.
Overall we had a great tour. Mal our tour guide was engaged with us the whole time. Seeing the caves was an outstanding experience.

My wife and I were blown away with the natural beauty of this place. The local government have done an incredible job maintaining this UNESCO world heritage site. Visiting these caves was a surreal and spiritual experience for us. They even have an audio guide in many languages to guide you through this amazing experience. Definitely a bucket list destination. Super happy we visited and highly recommend this place. Also worth a mention, they only allow a certain amount of tourists per day to maintain the ecosystem.
Thank you very much for taking time to review and choosing us for your trip. It is our pleasure to serve you.
