The weather did not permit us to go on the hike scheduled, so Marco gave me a few choices and decided on levadas walk. Stunning views, beautiful scenery and vegetation, commentary along the way was great. Marco knows the island well so in case the weather does not permit he figures out another amazing adventure. Highly recommend it.
I was lucky to find this private tour at last minute notice as another tour company cancelled on me. I was lucky to have Marco as my guide. We enjoyed sunny weather. Ponta Sao Lorenco was so beautiful! Wow wow wow. It was a rather easy walk. It might be one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been. Marco was fairly knowledgeable about history. I enjoyed listening to his stories very much. The walk was rather pleasant when with a good companion. When we reached the cafe, Marco bought the boat tickets for return journey. The boat ride was from a different perspective to see the peninsula. It was a speed boat so they could make some fun turns in the ocean. We made a circle around the small island of the lighthouse. Then headed to the marina. We spotted a seal in the ocean. It was refreshing and joyful ride. I had such a good time that I requested to extend the tour to other parts of the island.
