07:30 Pick up from Your hotel in Paris (it can be as well Caen, Bayeux, Honfleur) and departure destination Normandy by our air conditioned comfortable Mercedes E220 business-class car or by Mercedes minivan. It takes about 3,5 hours (280 km) to reach Normandy American Cemetery in Collville-sur-Mer. One stop at a rest area will be made.
11:00 - 11:30 Overlord Museum visit. Located just few hundred meters from the Normandy American Cemetery this museum contains many WW2 artefacts and installations like tanks, weapons, guns, many military vehicles, V-1 missile, personal belongings and more. 11:40 - 12:40 Arrival and Visit of the Normandy American Cemetery & Visitor Center, located in Colleville-sur-Mer and overlooking Omaha Beach. It contains 9,387 U.S. soldiers, most of whom were killed during the Normandy Landings and the Wall of the Missing with the names of 1,557 soldiers missing in action. The cliffs leading down to the beaches contain the remnants of the German defences, including concrete casemates with memorials to the soldiers. At Normandy American Cemetery you’ll see as well the semicircular memorial colonnade with the sculpture “Spirit of American Youth Rising from the Waves” and large maps of military operations; and the most beautiful, idyllic spot on Planet Earth. At the Visitors Center You will find a very nice small Museum with a lot of informations about Battle of Normandy. 12:40 Departure to Omaha Beaches. It takes just 10 minutes (5 km).
12:50 - 13:10 Arrival at the Monument SIGNAL of Omaha Beaches. Learn about the huge sacrifice made by the 34 000 men who landed here on D-Day. Omaha Beach is the most popular travellers destination of the D-Day Beaches. 13:10 Departure to Mont Saint-Michel. I takes 1 hour 45 minutes (150 km).
15:00 - 18:00 Arrival at the UNESCO World Heritage Mont Saint-Michel & the Benedictine Abbey. Tickets included. As a rule we join the English guided tours made by the Abbey's guides. Audioguides can be offered as alternative if the guided tour is not available. From 4 participants Live guide is with You during the whole trip. After arrival we will bring you up the narrow streets of the medieval village to the Abbey on the top where from You can admire panoramic views over Atlantic Ocean. First settled by man in the year 709 it contains Medieval village & beautiful Abbey fortress dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. The construction of the Benedictine Abbey started in the 700’s and continued through the 1200s. The whole island is classified by UNESCO as a world heritage remaining practically the same since the Middle Ages. Free time to enjoy Mont Saint-Michel. 18:00 Departure to Paris. The back ride will take about 4 hours. One stop at the rest area will be made.

My husband and I took a day trip today with our guide Maria and our driver Vadim. We had a wonderful day - the experience couldn’t be topped! We were picked up from our Paris hotel in a beautiful Mercedes (smooth ride) early in the morning and dropped off at our hotel late that evening. In Normandy, we visited Omaha Beach, (stepped for lunch at an excellent restaurant), and Utah Beach. We then proceeded to Mont St. Michel. I knew from the beginning that Vadim was a safe driver and that I would learn a lot of information from Maria. We appreciated the many anecdotes that she shared. Her historical knowledge was impressive. She tailored her presentation to our interests and catered to our needs. We would highly recommend this tour.
David was very informative, personable and feel very lucky he was our guide. He went the extra step to help us navigate a personal issue which was difficult for us being in a different country.
Vadim was our driver and he was on top of everything. He had the day laid out and it ran smoothly. He picked us up at our hotel and pointed out some highlights on the way out of Paris. The guide we had at Mont St Michel was excellent. This is a guide that works for the site and was incredibly knowledgeable. Our time in Normandy was self guided and very moving. We visited Normandy first, which was important and understandably a bit heavy, so finishing up at Mont St Michel’s was a nice balance. There are a LOT of steps at MSM, be aware of that. I did it with the help of my husband, even though I have a balance disorder, so it’s manageable depending on your situation. I saw some with walking sticks and that’s probably a good idea if you’re not sure footed. We had an amazing day and the quiet and comfortable luxury car made the long drive quite nice.

The tour was excellence. It was best that it was just my husband and myself as we could personalize the tour as much as possible. I would highly recommend it to all my friends.
This was a wonderful experience! Micky and the driver Nico were ontime (early), very personable and knowledgeable. We felt safe and in very good hands the entire day (almost 15 hours). We would definitely ask for them again.
