What an amazing experience! Tania and Sergio made the experience so personal and fun. We loved every minute of it! From shopping the market, to tequila tasting, to enjoying the delicious homemade food… definitely a must for any visitor!
The cooking class from start to finish was fantastic. Tania our chef and host was so kind, fun and knowledgeable. Our group met her at the supermarket, and we gathered all the ingredients. We went back to her house and began cooking and making margaritas. Our group consisted of one non-cook, to a few novice cooks, to a trained professional chef of 35 plus years. We all learned, laughed, and enjoyed the entire experience. I would highly recommend this activity, if you like to eat delicious food from the Yucatán.
We loved our intimate meal-prep and dining with Tania, who knows cooking so well and has a great facility with those great Mexican dishes!
We came to Cozumel for my sister’s 50th birthday and wanted to do something different and authentic. The cooking class exceeded our expectations from start to finish! Tania , our chef was gracious and took us shopping with her at the supermarket for all of the fresh ingredients to make our meals. When we arrived at our destination she made us feel welcomed and gave step by step instructions on how to make every dish. The food was simple but absolutely delicious!!! It was the highlight of our trip to Cozumel and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting for an intimate experience off the beaten path!
Home town Mexican cooking, we made trompitis pork tacos. Home made guac and mango margaritas , everything was delicious
We just did this cooking class yesterday. Had such a fun time. We met our hostess Tania at the market and shopped for ingredients, learning about the different ingredients we would be using. We helped make green sauce, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Tania made us authentic Cazuela drinks which were delicious! We also had bean soup which I'm already planning to make at home...called Sopa de frijoles. We then had chicken marinaded in a sauce we made which was on a skewer with onion and pinapple. This was airfried and then we carved it and made tacos with fresh corn tortillas. We were so stuffed we couldn't do the offered mango margaritas! For dessert we had plantains panfried with butter and sugar with some cheese on them. Tania was a great hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. I highly recommend this. At end of class she sent us a pdf with all recipes including some we hadn't made that she thought we might like to try! Thanks for the great class!
Tonya was amazing, the food was awesome, and she made the whole experience lots of fun! This in-home cooking class should be number one on your list when visiting Cozumel whether you were just couples or a large group. Highly recommend, number one thing we’ve done on Cozumel.
We had the best time with Tania at our cooking experience! Highly recommend this! We took my mom for her 80th Birthday. Everything from shopping at the market to the fresh margaritas and appetizers- to the main meal. You won’t leave hungry! Tania is the best. She even met us at the market the next day! Can’t say enough about our experience!
