Fantastic

with our private tour to Lijiang, our tour guide, Alice has been very meticulous with our itinerary and caring. During the 2nd day of our trip to snow dragon mountain, my son was not feeling well and was unable to join us for the trip so Alice has made the initiative to tell the hotel front desk personnel to keep a look out for my son condition. She even walk with us after our trip to find any porridge for my son to eat. Really appreciate her kindness and help.

I recommend this tour for everyone...

I recommend this tour for everyone, even older tourists who sometimes have trouble keeping up. We visited a typical roadside village, saw some of the important historical sites in the area, including a monument to the Long March, a very old engraved stone reciting Important events of the early Naxi people, a broad bend in the upper Yangtze where the forces of both Kubla Khan and the early Red Army chose to cross to further their campaigns, and the Gorge of the Leaping Tiger. Unfortunately the Long March monument area was closed and strong, cold winds precluded any time spent in the Gorge more than for a few pictures. We also made the mistake of including the Black Dragon Pool in our itinerary the day before so we did not go to the Pool again. The lunch for the day was served in a restaurant on the Shangrila side of the Yangtze in the Tibetan style and was delicious.
