The private Cozumel Jeep Tour takes you once around the island of Cozumel. We will use panoramic roads right by the ocean, pass along the wild and uninhabited east side of Cozumel and stop at the nicest beaches and lookout points to take pictures.
The Punta Sur National Park is one of the most beautiful attractions on Cozumel. It offers an amazing variety of flora and fauna. An unpaveled road leads into the park. We first stop at a beautiful lagoon and try to spot crocodiles. From an observation tower you have an excellent view over ocean and lagoon. Look out for birds and other Cozumel wildlife. Visit a small Mayan ruin from the 14th century. The next stop is a lighthouse. 132 steps to the top – and you enjoy one of the most beautiful views over the southern part of Cozumel. Discover the small museum next to the lighthouse. It has some surprises from the time of the ancient Maya and from the time of the pirates and smugglers on Cozumel. Our next stop is one of the most beautiful beaches of the whole Island. Enjoy your beach break and relax in the sun, have a Mexican meal or swim to the offshore reef to snorkel there (weather permitting). Your private guide will be happy to take you there.

Our tour guides have a blue shirt with the Leon Tours logo on the back. We will send you a booking confirmation with the exact description of the meeting point. If you do not receive an Email, please check your SPAM folder. If you are coming by cruise ship, Cozumel has three cruise ship piers. Our meeting points are close to the exit of the port terminal. For the PUNTA LANGOSTA pier, we meet at the entrance of the MEGA supermarket. For the INTERNATIONAL pier, we meet at the 7 Eleven mini supermarket. For the PUERTA MAYA pier, we meet at the 7 Eleven mini supermarket. If your phone is not working in Cozumel and you need to reach out to us, please ask one of the local people if you can use their phone. Usually they are very friendly and trying to help.

Little difficult finding the location for jeep pick up, but once located, things were easy and smooth. We had a beautiful jeep with a cooler in rear full of water, and beverages. We had a guided tour all over the island. The guide drove his car in front of us. So many amazing stops especially at the tequila tasting museum. The staff was so friendly. We also stopped at a scenic beach, light house and preserve. The restaurant we stopped to eat at, had authentic Mexican food and was amazing! Each time we got back into our jeep, the guide had it running and cool for our comfort! The beverages in the back were always refreshing and cold. Highly recommend this tour! Can’t wait to go back!

The trip was a great experience. Our tour guide Andrea was excellent. She knew a lot about the island and answered all of our questions. The jeep was great. There were drinks on board. Was a great trip. Highly recommend. Ask for Inn Palmer. He was great and took us to some awesome spots. Snorkeling was awesome, and he joined us, showing us exactly where to go. We saw alot, plus a giant eagle ray.
What a great way to Tours Cozumel. A short walk from the port we were picked up by Jose Carlos.(JC) he was so friendly, his English was excellent, and his enthusiasm was contagious. He would have shown us absolutely anything we wanted but as it is his home, we allowed him to set the agenda. He brought us to the other side of the island, where we saw beautiful beaches, Everglades, crocodiles, southern most tip of Mexico and a lovely beach club.
Very good way to visit the island. Santiago our driver was very attentive and dedicated. He introduced us to several places (parks, beaches, lagoon, etc.), with a typical meal (tacos) included.
We had a wonderful, private jeep tour with Andrea. She emigrated from Germany to Mexico 33 years ago and knows every corner of Cozumel. We were on the road for almost 6 hours, during which we made many different stops on the island. Andrea told us very informative things about Cozumel, but also about Mexico in general. The included lunch at a beach bar was also great! Great location and very tasty food. We can recommend this tour to everyone! Price/performance really unbeatable!
