We had an incredible day at Cradle Moon with Shane and Lerentia. The walk through nature was refreshing, and spotting wildlife made the experience truly special. Our guides were knowledgeable and made the outing enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, it was a memorable trip that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience and special guides.

I will definitely be booking more tours with Shane when I travel through South Africa. As a solo traveller, finding an amazing tour guide is essential and my hike was a great morning experience. Quiet and safe. Thank you!

Great hike, landscapes, the weather was good and we came across giraffes, zebras etc. It was a very nice experience and Shane was a great guide!

This was such an incredible experience. I learned so much about the wildlife in South Africa and was so delighted that we were able to get so close to them. Especially the giraffes and the zebras! Shane really knows his way around these parts and was such a wonderful guide. He really caters to what you want.....like for instance I was hoping to have a coffee before the hike and boy did he deliver! We went to a local spot all the cyclists go to. It was such a cool place. Then off to our bushwalking adventure. After a bit of tracking we spotted the giraffe then slowly (and quietly) made our way toward them. What an amazing experience to be so close to them! Then we came across a dozen or so zebra and many different types of antelope (springbok, impala, and others I don't remember the names of). Continuing, we followed some of the mountain bike trails seeing all the different animal prints in the mud. There is such an abudance of wildlife in these parts! Later we had lunch on the river in a beautiful restaurant with wonderful food before ending our hiking adventure. You will not regret time spent with Shane on his tours. I am already planning more adventures with him when I return. Thank you Shane!

I booked the guided hike to Magaliesberg, but we went to Groenkloof, the oldest reserve in the country, which was only 15 minutes away. Almost immediately we came upon a giraffe literally in our path. After that, impala, rooibok, zebra and hundreds of lovely birds. You are within sight and sound of the city but the terrain is authentic bush, and we didn't meet any other hikers. Shane is a very knowledgeable guide, and lets you go at your own pace.

Thoroughly enjoyed hike on foot, this was to Cradle Moon conservation, a game lodge. It's a beautiful location, part of walk was along edge of river. There is a resident hippo, sadly it's rare you actually see it but Shane showed me its tracks by the river. Shane was very knowledgeable about the different animal tracks. We saw lots of beautiful birds. I enjoyed trying to track down the animals even though we didn't find the giraffe, they weren't in their normal spot apparently! This was great outing if you like being in the outdoors and enjoying the scenery and animal spotting. I learnt quite a lot from Shane about how the area is managed and the flora and fauna.

Shane worked so hard to accommodate our very unique group and ensure we had the best chance of seeing giraffes and other wildlife. We had a fantastic time, and really enjoyed the opportunity to get out in nature with such a great guide. He took good care of us to make sure everything was safe, fun and accessible. Shane was such a terrific guide. We were walking in this wonderful area on trails and and through the bush. I always felt save and Shane explained the flora and fauna. To approach the giraffes on foot was one one of the highlights. The hotel pickup and return drive was also good and very useful. I had a blast!

The experience was exceptional Shane was an absolute professional and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the animals. I felt safe being a solo hiker which was very important to me. He was kind, thoughtful and was kind enough to allow me to use his wifi which was very generous of him. He even waited for my uber to pick me up rather than leaving me alone in a strange place. He is willing to pick you up from your location despite options presented when you book. Once you communicate with him you can make arrangements. Great guide
