Private Full Day Tour of Jodhpur with Guide

I contacted Ram before our trip, drawn by his excellent reviews, he exceeded every expectation. Not only did he help us organize our time in Jodhpur, but he also offered invaluable tips for our entire journey through Rajasthan and recommended trustworthy guides in the other cities we visited. Ram listened carefully to my ideas and tailored an itinerary that perfectly fit our family’s needs. He was discreet, always punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. Seeing him greet us with a warm smile at the start of each day was a joy. Since we were traveling with children, he thoughtfully adjusted the pace to suit them, making the experience comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Our time in Jodhpur was unforgettable. Ram knows the city’s hidden gems, including the best local restaurants, and he arranged a fantastic jeep tour of the Bishnoi Villages. We wish we’d had enough time to do a cooking class with his family—hopefully, we’ll get to return to Jodhpur someday to make that happen! One more thing: Ram is a fantastic photographer and captured some beautiful family moments for us. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to experience Jodhpur and Rajasthan in an authentic, thoughtful way.

女一人旅でしたが、優しいガイドさんのおかげでジョードプルを安全に思う存分楽しめました。 最初、空港のピックアップにオートバイで迎えにいらっしゃった時はびっくりしましたが、ガイドさんの説明の通り、車ではブルーシティは満足に回れないし、大渋滞を避けるためには、むしろオートバイが必須でした。 ツアー内容に対する疑問にも丁寧に説明してくれ、とても誠実なガイドさんでした。お土産ショップも行きたくないことを伝えたら、無理に連れて行かれたりすることはありませんでした。写真もたくさん撮っていただき、大満足です。 I was a female and alone, however I really enjoyed this trip because of the kind guide. At first, when he came to the airport by motorcycle, I was surprised a little. However it is the best way to go around Jodhpur because of the traffic jam and narrow roads there. The guide explained so well, so I was really satisfied. He never made me take to the souvenir shop, and this tour is reliable. He took a lot of pictures,too. Thank you for amazing tour in Jodhpur!

I visited Rajastan for 8 days and covered Jaisalmer/Jodhpur/Jaipur I booked flights and hotels on my own and asked Ram to help me with local Guide and car arrangements for all the three places. My trip turnedout to be awesome experience because of arrangements done by Ram. All places we had good local guide. Here in Jodhpur Ram accompanied us as guide. We are interested in photography. Ram understood what we like/dislike and took us to right places for food, photography. He knows lot of local places that you will not be able to visit on your own. Provide your trip dates and leave rest to Ram. For sure he will make the trip memorable. He speaks fluent english/Hindi. He is service oriented and tries his best to make your trip a memorable experiance. I highly recommend Ram. If you are visiting Rajastan get intouch with him.

A cousin recommended Ram Nivas Ji as a guide when we were visiting Jodhpur and we are extremely glad to have chosen him. He has great knowledge of the city and Rajasthan. In addition, he is very courteous, entertaining and punctual. All his recommendations (sight seeing, shopping and food) were on point! He understood exactly what our interests are and tailored the plan accordingly. He even arranged a private dedicated car for us for our entire journey and a guide for the Udaipur part of our trip. After visiting multiple forts in Rajasthan and nearby, Mehrangarh fort was different, it is still under their current king's supervision and well maintained. It takes about 1 hour to complete the tour else more if you are fond of clicking photos everywhere. It is always important to take guide when visiting any fort so that you can learn the fine details about the history. Our tour guide Mr Ramniwas was also very kind and provided good information about the fort.

Ram is a first class tour guide, not only is he very knowledgeable but he is fun to be with. His enthusiasm will rub off on you and you will have a great time. He is also a great communicator and time keeper. We'll always remember his smiling face waiting for us and he was always very punctual. We also had a bit of a shopping list and Ram knew all the best places to go (not the ones that paid commission!) As you can gather, we really enjoyed Ram's company and was probably the best guide we have encountered in India.

Ram is awesome! Reliable, friendly and trustworthy. Is even helping us still years later as we’re looking for more textiles to ship back to the states!

I spent a lovely day with Ram. he tailored a day around my desire to do lots of walking around the city and not spend too much time visiting museums etc. We went to the Umaid palace, Mehrangahr Fort, Toorj's stepwell, Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park , Mandore Gardens and Jaswant Thada. We also visited various Chai stalls and also tried pomegranate juice and coconut water at Ram's favourite juice stall. We stopped to eat Kachari at street vendors and Ram also took me back to his house to meet his family. A special day with a special man. I will keep in touch - what a gem.

Gam is knowledgeable and good company. It was a pleasure spending the day walking through the fort and old city of Jodhpur with him.
