Private Full-day Luxury Boat Tour to Capri from Amalfi Coast

Accompanied by our guide - Mario, we took a fascinating tour along the Panama Canal, from the Pacific coast to Colon on the Caribbean Sea, discovering the history of its creation and modern operation. In addition to visits to the Canal at viewpoints in the locks, we had a brief opportunity to look at the rainforest, the Charges River and eat Panamanian seefood. He was very helppfull and kind. We could see a lot and discuss problems of Panama. He was a wonderful guide and we were satisfied very much to meet him. Taking advantage of Mario's advice the next day, we went with the sports-active residents of Panama City to Ancon Hill in Metropolitan National Park (beautiful views of the city and the canal, and even managed to spot a sloth in a tree).

This yacht ride was for our honeymoon and it had been on our bucket list for years. It was very hard to believe that it was going to turn into the worst boat ride we had ever been on. The view of Capri and the islands around it and the service provided by our captain was great, but the company itself was horrible. It was priced at around $1,400 USD, so we expected the company to be professional in providing us advice on weather patterns, how rough the ocean would be and recommendations on when to go or not to go based upon what our experience on the sea would be. The company moved our trip a day back so it would be “calmer” conditions. We were a little nervous when they asked how long we would be here for after pushing the trip back, making us think the weather might not be great. When we said it was our last day, they assured us it would be safe for us to go so we felt comfortable. Unfortunately, it seems the company was more interested in collecting our money than ensuring our experience on the water was enjoyable during our honeymoon. The welcome Prosecco and snacks were great, but we were rocking back and forth so much we couldn’t even enjoy them. The swells were so high (2-3 meters high, some almost 4) and the ocean was so rough that we had to lay down in the cabin for a good bit of the trip, not even allowing us to enjoy the views of the coast. It was dangerous to stand up and when laying down our bodies got air time from the boat slamming on the water. When it was safe to go on the top deck of the boat, we had to sit down in the middle, holding on to the seat. We couldn’t sit on the front or rear sun beds, as we would have gotten thrown off. The boat was getting tossed around for the entire 8 hour ride, and we were on land for one hour. On top of all this, the wind was just whipping our face the whole time and I had to hold my wife wrapped up in towels because she was shivering. Our captain did the absolute best he could to make the situation better, but he too was commenting on how terrible the weather was. The non stop 7 hours of rocking made us feel imbalanced for the rest of our night and into the next morning, making us lose our appetite, which is the best part of coming to Italy. All this said, we really wish the company had canceled our trip or cut it short. Coming to Italy is an expensive and amazing trip, so our time here is precious, and this made us feel like we had completely made a waste of a day as well as lost $1,400. The boat ride was originally scheduled for 10 to 6, but the company picked us up at 9:15 and dropped us off at 4:30 due to weather conditions. However, the company has no issue with collecting the full amount we paid for. We wish they had at least accommodated us in refunding a portion of the large amount we paid since our experience, the weather and time had been horrible. They decided not to accommodate us at all. We hope this post prevents this from happening to another couple trying to enjoy their honeymoon. I’d recommend using a different company.

Everything perfect and professional. From communication before renting the boat, to the agreement. The trip itself was fantastic, great captain Alfonso, beautiful and new boat, service on board... Thank you for an unforgettable and beautiful day on the Amalfi coast.

We had truly an amazing day! Working with Salvatore for the booking was very simple and accommodating. We reached out to many companies and really liked the quick response time, reviews & yacht choices from Capasecca Yacht. When we arrived Alfonso had prepared a welcome spread with chips, nuts, prosecco & fresh fruit. He was so knowledgeable about the coast and all of the history of Italy/Sorrento/Capri and the Grottos. We opted to only stay on Capri for 1 hour as we really were enjoying our time on the Yacht. It was such a perfect day and so relaxing - definitely the highlight of our trip. Alfonso went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day and he even made us Espresso as the day was coming to an end. We highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the coast!

We had a delightful time, our captain was amazing and very accomodating. It was truely a special day on the gorgeous water and the boat was beautiful. The only thing I had not caught on the booking was that the fuel was not included so that was a surprise!

Our experience with Capasecca Yacht Club was the epitome of a luxurious adventure. My best friend and I, along with our husbands, booked a dream vacation to Italy which included several cities and tours but by far our best and favorite experience took place on our luxury cruise to Capri Island. Capasecca provided us with a fun, helpful crew who set up and delivered a wonderful tour. We had a captain and two skippers. They had food ready to serve, drinks were flowing and our music filled the air. They asked what we had hoped to see and then fine tuned our wishes and added extras. We were whisked away to the island on the very comfortable, very fast Azumit 55. We shopped (after they gave us the inside scoop of where to go), explored and returned to the sea. Then e stopped for lunch at a beautiful delicious restaurant overlooking the water on the bluffs. Next we viewed some grottos, went for a dip and rock diving. The crew took pictures of us, told us about the sights, helped my best friend overcome motion sickness and safely returned us to our port. It was a magical 8 hour excursion. So much so that we cannot wait to return and book a longer cruise with Capasecca.

We took a private boat tour to Capri from Positano in May 2022. Our Captain, Gian Luca, was great and helpful the whole trip. He showed us all of the sites, grottos, and got us into The Blue Grotto quickly. The experience could not have been better. We are hoping for a return trip in the future!

Capasecca Yacht gave us the absolute best day of our 16-day tour through Italy! They were simply fantastico! The 72’ boat was a splurge we would do again in a heartbeat. Clean, comfortable and perfect for our large group. Our captain Tony and steward Daniel were awesome…touring us from Amalfi to Positano and around Capri. We visited the Blue Grotto and later dropped anchor twice to swim and lunch. It was a perfect trip made all the better by the great staff and impressive boat. Highly recommend this company - they will not disappoint!
