Viator allowed me to book this despite the supplier advising them there was no availability beforehand. The supplier then contacted me to advise and advised he would send them a refund I then had to chase Viator for it, they made false promises agreed to follow up next day etc and said the supplier had not informed them but the supplier had sent me proof via WhatsApp. The tour op / supplier was fantastic just dissapointed Viator didnt update their systems before hand as could have booked another day with them
We did appreciate very much that the tour were able to provide us tickets for the 'capsule ride', which we requested.. However, it was quite frustrating that our driver did not speak any English, so communication was not good. He had to keep calling the office to speak with a person that could communicate and translate into English. There was no narrative as we drove around the area, the driver could not answer our questions, nor inform us of anything. In looking for a lunch spot, which time was to be allotted for in our tour for this, the first restaurant he took us to opened at 4:00, that was the time we had to be back to the ship. He then took us to another place, which the menu was extremely limited and quite pricy, some in the group could not eat the selections available. (We had just wanted a local place to try local Korean food). By the time we found another eating place, which was where he should have taken us in the fist place, a "a Food Hall-where the locals go", it was good and reasonable, a neighborhood "Food Hall" on the water, we would have been able to see other areas of the city on our tour, which we didn't see because so much time was wasted looking for a restaurant and trying to communicate. If this tour company would provide an English driver-one that could communicate in English, and take travelers to the local popular "Food Hall" on the water, that would make the difference of a good review. If you book, request a driver that can communicate well and not waste time searching for a 'local restaurant', so you can see all the sights in Busan, that we missed. That would make this tour much more enjoyable.
We had the best day in Busan! Jian was our private driver for the day and extremely helpful. We had Korean bbq for lunch and it was a highlight! Also visited the Skywalk, shopping street, and Blue line park. We would absolutely take this tour again with Jian, even the kids loved it!
The tour guide was wonderful! He took lots of photos and knew where to take us. He suggested a wonderful restaurant for lunch.
Absolutely LOVED our driver/tour guide! He was amazing! He took pictures of us and was a good communicator about time and things to see/do.
I would highly recommend this tour! You got to see so many different parts of Busan, and it was so smooth and easy to travel! The host and drivers were both so kind and responsive!
We had a great day out with our driver from Busan Cruise port. The driver did not speak much English but it does not matter these days with Google Translate. Great communication with the company before our trip. You decide what you want to see and do. They will make it happen. We packed a lot in but that is the reason to have a private tour. You can get around quickly. The driver parked in all the great places and meet us from the sky capsule etc. It was all very easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend this company for a private day trip from Busan cruise port. Much better than a ships tour.
This tour was truly customizable from start to finish. The operator was highly responsive and offered thoughtful recommendations on how to structure our itinerary, which helped us make the most of our time with the guide while seeing Busan’s top sights. We never felt rushed, and the driver was courteous, punctual, and flexible throughout the day. We always felt well taken care of and in very capable hands. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this operator to anyone looking for a guide in Busan.
We were picked up instead of 9:00 at 9:50. Partly because driver was at the wrong hotel. As a result, there was less time to watch everything quietly that gave a feeling of rush about the rest of the day. The driver also spoke inadequate English so there was no decent conversation. The driver drove us neatly everywhere, but personally I don't think he's suitable for excursions. This tour is not suitable for people with wheelchairs. The sights against that are definitely worth seeing.
CozyBusan was the only operator we could find that offered a private customizable tour in Busan. We were very happy with the service and would recommend it. Communication via whatsapp about the itinerary (beforehand) went smoothly. Pick up at the airport was timely, and the van was large, modern and clean. Mr Jin was very helpful and friendly and drove well. He didn’t mind extending the tour when there was a delay due to traffic, and dropped us off at our hotel. He spoke basic English and we used a translation app when necessary which worked well. We got to see places this way that bus tours don’t visit, like Ahopsan Forest.
