My family was visiting S. Korea for a Teakwondo tournament and part of the tour was Busan. We wanted to see as much as we could in the one full day we had there. Our guide Mimi was awesome! Friendly, full of information and facts about our tour stops and S. Korea. Her lunch recommendation was spot on! We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and the whole Busan in a day experience!
William was a great tour guide. He had so much information about all the places I chose to visit with my family here in Busan. We were very happy with the tour and the lunch restaurant he suggested.
We had a fabulous day with Daisy! What a wealth of knowledge she has- we learned so much about Busan and Korea while with her. We were able to design our own tour with her, visiting the Haedong Yongungsa temple, the Songdo Cable Car, and the Jagalchi Fish Market as well as a beautiful observation point over the ocean above Moontan Road that she added at the beginning, where we could see Japan. She also showed us SongJeong Beach where many people were learning to surf, the BIFF Square and its handprints, and Gukje Market and took many photos of our family at various locations. She was warm, friendly and so informative. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to really see Busan with an expert!
From the moment we met Seb (our guide) and Dean (our driver), we clicked instantly. They were warm, funny, and genuinely excited to show us Busan - it felt like exploring the city with friends rather than being on a tour. When my niece started feeling overheated and dehydrated, they immediately helped her get to somewhere she could sit down, and even brought her a cold drink. Their kindness and quick action meant so much to us. Seb also went out of his way to help us capture memories throughout the day - he took fantastic photos of all of us and even helped my nieces find all the best Instagram‑worthy photo spots. Those little touches made the day even more special. The entire tour exceeded our expectations. The pacing was perfect, the stops were beautiful, and Seb’s storytelling brought every location to life. You can tell he loves what he does. And Dean’s driving was smooth, safe, and efficient - we never had to worry about a thing. We also loved that Seb shared an amazing dinner recommendation for the next night - and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the whole trip. This was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had, and a highlight of our time in Korea. If you’re considering a private tour in Busan, you won’t just get a great tour - you’ll make new friends.
This was an amazing tour! Jino was an excellent guide. Very helpful and informative, but also just fun to be around. This was the highlight of our trip to South Korea!
The tour was great because we were able to pick the places we wanted to go to, and Linda the tour guide was cordial, very nice, and always paying attention to everyone in our group. She made sure we were enjoying the experience, learning about Busan, and she guided us at all times. Linda learned the names of all of us 14 family members. It was a day we will always remember.
Great tour, flexible and highly customizable- CK had excellent English skills, very good and knowledgeable guide. Even helped us cook our barbecue!
Ryan Lee was an exceptional tour guide. He went above and beyond in accommodating our travel requests. He even made some suggestions in highlighting local areas that added to our first Busan visit. He took multiple group pictures for us. We really enjoyed getting to know him and would definitely recommend and use him again when returning to the area. Thank you Ryan!
We went on this private group tour with five family members. Jay Song was our tour guide and we had a very good experience. We visited the temple and the culture village from the cruise terminal. I highly recommend this tour.
My 15-year-old daughter and I were picked up by William at Busan Station early in the morning after arriving on the 5:00 a.m. train from Seoul. Since we were running on very little sleep, we asked if we could stop for coffee first, and William took us to what ended up being the best coffee shop we visited during our entire trip to Korea. From there, we spent the day exploring Busan’s highlights. William took us to Gamcheon Culture Village, where we wandered through the colorful hillside streets and enjoyed the incredible views. We then visited Songdo Beach and the beautiful coastal area nearby before heading to Jagalchi Fish Market, where we got a glimpse of Busan’s famous seafood culture. One thing I especially appreciated was William’s flexibility. We had a specific restaurant in mind for lunch, and he went out of his way to find the exact location and make sure we got there without any hassle. After lunch, we continued to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the most breathtaking temples in Korea, dramatically situated along the coastline. We also stopped at the Cheongsapo Skywalk, which offered spectacular ocean views and was one of our favorite photo spots of the day. To finish the day, Korea Discovery Tours had already arranged tickets for the Haeundae Sky Capsule, perfectly timed for sunset. Watching the sun set over the coastline from the Sky Capsule was an unforgettable experience and the perfect ending to an amazing day in Busan. I cannot recommend booking a private tour with a car and guide highly enough. While Busan has excellent public transportation, the city is spread out, and having a knowledgeable local guide allowed us to see so much more in a single day than we could have managed on our own. The vehicle was spotless and comfortable, the itinerary was seamless, and William was professional, friendly, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. If you’re visiting Busan and want to maximize your time while enjoying a stress-free experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Korea Discovery Tours and William. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Korea.
