Start the tour with one of the most important churches of Florence - Santa Maria Novella, that is the first to welcome the visitors who come to Florence by train.
Step into one of the oldest pharmacies in the world created by the monks of the nearby church of Santa Maria Novella. Smell the fragrances and learn how perfume was born.
Take a look at Palazzo Antinori - the historical residence of the world famous wine makers and learn some fun stories about Tuscany wine.
See the exterior of the Medici Chapels - the final resting place of members of the famous dynasty that shaped the history of Florence.
Admire San Lorenzo - the first Florentine cathedral and the church entirely sponsored by the Medici clan.
Take a look at the Medici Palace - the first residence of the Godfathers of the Renaissance and imagine how Michelangelo lived there under the protection of Lorenzo the Magnificent. We will see the exterior of the palace and if we are lucky and the gates are open we will step into the courtyard and the garden of the Medici family.
Standing in one of the most beautiful squares of Florence, learn the stories about the Baptistery of San Giovanni – the oldest building of the city with its famous Gates of Paradise.
Admire the magnificent Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore which has a unique flower-shaped plan and the biggest masonry dome in the world – the marvel of the architect Filippo Brunelleschi. Even Michelangelo said “It would be difficult to equal…impossible to surpass.”
Stroll around Dante's district, take a look at his tower-house (from the outside) and enter the 1000-year old church where the the father of Italian language met the love and muse of his life.
Standing in Piazza della Signoria, take a look at the government palace – Palazzo Vecchio - a medieval fortress with the prison for the most dangerous criminals and the old residence of the Medici family.
Visit the political centre of Florence – Piazza della Signoria – a museum under the open sky with many original sculptures created by Renaissance artists;
Finish the tour at Ponte Vecchio – the symbol of the city and the oldest bridge in town famous for its jewelers' shops hanging over the Arno river.
