The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bern city to have a private transfer to one of the finest resorts in Switzerland Aeschi Village. It is one of the superb resorts in Bernese Oberland. Aeschi’s location itself will impress you with the panoramic view of Lake Thun and majestic mountain landscapes. Continuing our exploration to Kandersteg in regard to take the gondola lift while admiring the picturesque views on the way. Upon arrival, a simple hike through the green lands for about half an hour to reach the Mountain Lake Oeschinen. Here you will have two options while taking part in the most thrilling activity of this tour, either fishing on a boat or from the lakeside. The temperature goes up to 20 degrees Celsius in summer, thus, you can even swim here. When we will be done with fishing and lunch it will be the time to return to Kandersteg and visit the Ricola Herb Garden. Overall, a private return to the initial meeting point in Bern.

I hate writing bad reviews, but I wanted to warn everyone NOT to book this excursion. The tour company has very poor communication and they do not value customers. The trip itinerary was changed the day before and we were told it was due to the original lake not allowing fishing equipment rental. It doesn’t make sense to me how the company is running a fishing tour with absolutely no idea of whether the lake allows equipment rentals. And while we were happy to change the lake they did n it inform us that there would be no snacks, lunch, herb garden excursion, boat excursion, regardless of it being advertised on the website. I have tried requesting a partial refund as we paid 1520 Swiss francs and I have reached out 4 times with absolutely no response. I am more appalled by this behaviour of not addressing customer concerns more than anything else. In addition, we were given a tour guide that did not speak English the driver had to stay with us to help us out and he informed us when we asked about the lack of activities, that it was not his jurisdiction. Overall, 0/10 experience. Please spend your money with some other company. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company for lack of providing services as promised.

The originally assigned fishing guide unfortunately did not have the necessary equipment, and this only became known to us the day before your scheduled tour. In order to still make the fishing experience possible for you, we promptly arranged an alternative solution: relocating the activity to another lake where equipment could be rented. To help minimise disruption and any additional cost or time, we also included a hotel meet-and-greet service in Zurich, so that your driver-guide could pick you up directly, instead of having you travel to Basel. Due to these urgent changes, it was unfortunately not possible to include all the originally planned activities. We focused on ensuring that you could still enjoy the fishing itself, which we understood to be the core purpose of the tour. While the fishing guide did not speak English, your driver-guide was present to assist and translate throughout, doing his best to ensure your comfort and understanding during the experience. We understand that you attempted to reach us via WhatsApp, and while that line is dedicated to urgent logistical matters, we recognise that it would have been more helpful if the issue had been directed to our main office email earlier. Nonetheless, we take your concerns seriously and do not wish you to feel overcharged or disappointed by our services. As a gesture of goodwill, and in recognition of the changes made to your tour, we will proceed with a partial refund. You will receive a confirmation of this transaction shortly. Once again, please accept our apologies, and thank you for your understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future under better circumstances.
