Şirince Village, perched in the scenic hills near Ephesus, is a captivating destination blending history and tradition. Famous for its beautifully preserved Greek-style houses, cobblestone streets, and locally crafted fruit wines, this charming village offers breathtaking views and an authentic taste of Turkish culture. A serene retreat, Şirince is a must-visit spot for travelers seeking a unique cultural and historical experience in Turkey.
Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. Its ancient streets, still marked by chariot tracks, connect landmarks like the Great Theater, seating over 20,000, and the Celsus Library, the third-largest of its time. Visit the Public Agora, famed for trade in Anatolian handicrafts, and explore the Temple of Hadrian, Trajan Fountain, and Odeon. Ephesus offers a captivating glimpse into the grandeur and culture of ancient civilizations.
The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, was dedicated to Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and moon. Built around 650 BC on a site sacred to Cybele, the Anatolian Mother Goddess, it was financed by King of Lydia and engineered on marshy ground to prevent earthquake damage. In 41 BC, Cleopatra’s sister, Arsinoe IV, was murdered here under Mark Antony’s orders. Though only columns and ruins remain, the temple’s legacy rivals the grandeur of the Parthenon.
At the end of your tour, we will ensure your timely return to Kusadasi Cruise Port, well before your ship’s scheduled departure. We did the private tour and were able to picked up at our own choice location, the tour was tailored to what we wanted to see.
Merve was our knowledgeable young guide on this excellent tour. She and her driver were friendly and welcoming. The Mercedes van we rode in was luxurious! We never felt rushed, really enjoyed Şirince village and felt privileged to be there early before it became crowded. Ephesus was busier but incredible, highly recommended, especially the terrace houses that we added. It was a hot day so even the leather and carpet places at the end were at least a welcome escape from the heat.
An unforgettable day in Turkey! Beautiful sights, great organization and an outstanding guide. Thank you Tolga for an excellent day in Turkey!
Ephesus was great but the sales pitch at the carpet place was not what we paid for. When on a tour, we don’t want to waste time listening to a sales pitch.
Yesra was our awesome tour guide of Pamukkale and surrounds. Yesra is knowledgable and helpful. She is a pleasure to know. The tour is a must.
We had a fantastic time on this two day trip! Our guide, Utku, was amazing - knowledgable and full of good humor! This was a great way to see an incredible other side of the country, away from the bustle of Istanbul. Transfers made everything easy and seamless, without having to worry about planning all the details ourselves. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!!
We had an absolutely wonderful time with Niko!! He told us about everything there was to know about Ephesus and allowed us ample time to look around and even offered to take our picture several times! Highly recommend.
Char was an excellent host, knowledgeable, attentive, and very accommodating to our needs 😊
Great communication right off the bat from the company through WhatsApp. Umut, the owner was our tour guide. We were met on time when we got off the ship. A nice drive to the mountain village of Sirince. It was a nice little village, with souvenir and coffee shops, restaurants. Umut gave us the history of the village and we were given time to explore. Then we stopped by the Temple of Artemis, what was left of it and again, given the history of the place. Lunch provided was very delicious! Visited a carpet school where we learned the art of carpet making. Overall a great tour!
With our very knowledgeable guide Duygu we had an amazing experience exploring Ephesus and also the Sirinci village. Also included was a visit to a ceramics shop where I was able to experience making a clay pot and a carpet factory where we also enjoyed a delicious Greek lunch.
