You will be picked up in the morning at by an English-speaking driver from Jodhpur Airport, Jodhpur Junction Railway Station, Bus Station, or your centrally located hotel in Jodhpur, and leave for Jain Temple in Ranakpur. It is believed that the Ranakpur temple was built in the 15th century under the direction of Seth Dharna Shah, who was a follower of Jainism and a businessman by profession. He constructed the temple with the help of Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar, whose condition for help was that the temple be named after him. There are four entrances to reach the main chamber, where the idol of Adinath is placed. There are also five pillars in the temple, and each holds idols of various Tirthankaras. The biggest pillar, standing in the center of all others, holds an idol of Adinath. After visiting the beautiful Jain Temple, you will be take Back to you to Jodhpur, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or your preferred location.

We had a private tour from Udaipur to jodhpur with stop in ranakpur. Sightseeing was good and ranakpur very beautiful. However the driver was a very young guy, no English speaker so communication was quite difficult. His driving way was poor, agressive and some time dangerous. My girlfriend get lazy. He agreed to make the stops we asked him, but at a first time he didn’t want to leave us in our hotel as initially agreed and he pushed us to pick up a tuc tuc. After a discussion he finally accepted. Maybe the company is ok, but this driver is not so good
We travelled with Bittu from Udaipur to Ranakpur. He arrived perfectly in time at our guesthouse and his car is very clean. During the trip he explained us a bit about Ranakpur Jain Temple and Udaipur countryside. We stopped to have a chai on the Road and he told us a bit about Indian culture, very interesting. Bittu Is a very reliable and good driver, doing this job for 19 years... I would advice travelling with him at any time.
